drow not learning dancing lights is reportedly fixed in release patch #1 according to the release notes, approx Aug 25th 2023.

AOE version of the light spell. But it's stationary. I don't ever take this personally.

As of release, Drow don't seem to be able to know dancing lights, at least a lolth-sworn

Weird as heck that Drow, whom have darkvision, get this spell as a free cantrip. They neither need it, nor are characterized as charitable enough to wish to give vision benefits to their fellow partymembers
