How to Get the Bucket of Blood & Bloody Nails in Graveyard Keeper

After opening the underground gate with Snake in Graveyard Keeper, he will ask the player to find him a Bucket of Blood and Bloody Nails in the dangerous dungeon, seeing as the main character is immortal. This guide will explain in detail where to find these two items, but in short, the Bucket of Blood can be crafted at a Church Workbench or found in the dungeon, and the Bloody Nails can be taken from Iron Maidens in the dungeon.

Snake specifically wants 1 Bucket of Blood and 5 Bloody Nails, but you can only give them to him outside the dungeon on the green day.

How To Get A Bucket Of Blood In Graveyard Keeper

Players can either craft a Bucket of Blood or find one in the dungeon. Both methods will take a while as either a lot of blood is needed or players must reach level 5 of the dungeon.

Crafting A Bucket Of Blood

• 3 Flitch
• 10 Blood

Buckets of Blood can be crafted at a Church Workbench in the Alchemy Laboratory beneath the church. The blood can be acquired by doing autopsies on dead bodies in the morgue, and the wooden Flitch can be crafted at a Sawhorse from logs.

Finding A Bucket Of Blood

If players don't want to spend their own resources on this quest, they will instead need to make it to level 5 of the dungeon. To reach new levels, all enemies must be killed on the level, and players need to find their way down.

Enemies don't respawn in the dungeon, so feel free to kill some and then return after healing via sleep.

Inside level 5, use the following steps to find the Bucket of Blood, but be ready to face many enemies:

• Head down the corridor on the right.
• At the pool, go down
• At the library, go down.
• In the room with lots of columns, turn right.
• Follow the corridor to the room where the stairs are.

The Bucket of Blood is found inside a wooden chest at the center of a room. It is directly in front of the stairs to level 6, so it's hard to miss.

Consider building armor and a better sword for clearing the dungeon. Also, make sure you take plenty of food and drink, or any potions, but otherwise keep your inventory empty as there's lots of loot.

How To Get Bloody Nails In Graveyard Keeper

Bloody Nails can be looted from Iron Maiden enemies, who can be found on dungeon level 4 and onward. They are much tougher than the previous foes on levels 1-3, so come prepared with a full health bar. They can be kited fairly easily in isolation, however, so bait them into attacking by getting fairly close, and then run away. After they have attacked, there's a brief window to hit them.

Each Iron Maiden will drop 2 Bloody Nails, so players will need to kill 3 of them in total, as Snake desires 5 Bloody Nails. For those worrying about dying in the dungeon, don't fret is no punishment for death. That being said, it's still a good idea to save in Graveyard Keeper in case of the game crashing.

Excess Bloody Nails can be washed at the Cooking Table to create normal Nails, but players should find plenty of these in the dungeon.
