Perfect Bog Fondue Walkthrough
Start Job
You can start the Mouse PI for Hire Perfect Bog Fondue side job after receiving Damp Evidence, the main job that takes place in the Far Wetlands. After obtaining that objective, head to Little & Big across from Pepper’s office in the P.I. Office area and speak with John Brown, the bartender standing on a stool.
Track Down John's Recipe
The first part of Perfect Bog Fondue occurs about one-quarter of the way through Damp Evidence, just after passing through the mines. As soon as you exit the mines, enter the building that is in front of you and speak with the Old Cheeselegger.
There is a Baseball Card on the alcohol still in the room with the Old Cheeselegger.
All Three Thingies Locations in Mouse P.I. for Hire
You are now tasked with finding three thingies for the Old Cheeselegger, and the three thingies locations are spread across the mines, mansion, and swamp areas:
Thingie #1 Location
You will enter another part of the mine shortly after talking to the Old Cheeselegger. As soon as you enter, jump to the path that is down and to the left. The first thingie is on the left side of that path.
Thingie #2 Location
In the mansion, follow the main path until you reach the dining room with the "totally normal wall." The second thingie is on a stack of cheese wheels on the north side of the room.
Thingie #3 Location
The third thingie is in the swamp area after the mansion. There is a large wrecked ship in this area, and the item is underneath the pallet leaning against its smokestacks.
These thingies are required collectibles needed to complete Perfect Bog Fondue.
Exchange the Thingies for the Recipe
The final part of Perfect Bog Fondue is addressed at the very end of the level, just before using the plane at the pier to escape. When you exit the building right before the pier, go right and then right again when you run into a railing to find the Old Cheeselegger. Talk to him to exchange the thingies for the Perfect Bog Fondue Recipe.
Get This Thing Back to John
With John's recipe in hand, escape from the Far Wetlands. Then return to the P.I. Office area and speak with John Brown in the Little & Big to complete Perfect Bog Fondue and claim your reward: two Tokens.
Players can open the Prize D-Spenser in the Little & Big after collecting 20 Tokens. The Baseball Cards mini-game is the primary way to earn Tokens in Mouse: P.I. for Hire, and the dispenser holds a unique reward.
