The final season of Bleach: The Thousand-Year Blood War is well underway, and it has already delivered in terms of combat and spectacle. By the end of the season, most of the villains who have appeared in Bleach will be dead, but several notable villains do survive the TYBW. The strongest of these Bleach villains all possess Captain-level spiritual energy and abilities.
Many of the strongest Bleach villains who survived the war are Quincy who served as Sternritter in Yhwach's army. Several former Espada also survived the war, including one who technically got a promotion after being reincarnated. Some of these villains got better, less horrific endings than others, but at least they survived.
8 Szayelaporro Granz Is Now A Jailer Of Hell
As the former 8th Espada, Szayelaporro was one of the strongest Arrancar in Aizen's army. He was not an accomplished fighter like his fellow Espada, but he was dangerous because of his scientific ingenuity and Resurreccion. Szayelaporro could resurrect himself while using his Resurreccion, take control of someone's body, and destroy his opponent's body internally with voodoo-like dolls.
Szayelaporro was technically killed by Mayuri Kurotsuchi in Hueco Mundo after being exposed to the Superhuman Drug. He did not stay dead for long though. His soul was sent to Hell, and he currently acts as one of Hell's Jailors. His spiritual power has significantly increased, to the point he can threaten Renji, who is basically a Captain at this point. Not only has Szayelaporro gained some level of clairvoyance, he can now summon chains from the ground that can restrain and puncture opponents.
7 Giselle Gewelle Serves The New Quincy Leader And Continues To Control Zombies
As a former Sternritter, Giselle's spiritual power is comparable to a Soul Reaper Captain's. The last time Bleach fans saw Giselle, she was trying to kill Yhwach, who attempted to kill her and others with Auswahlen. Yhwach is one of the most overpowered Shonen villains, so it is not surprising that she lost. Giselle was critically wounded, but Yhwach did not finish her off, and as a result, she is one of the few high-level Quincy who survived the war.
Part of the reason Giselle survived is because she possesses The Zombie, a Schrift that offers a form of immortality. With this Schrift, Giselle can turn anyone into a zombified puppet as long as her blood splatters onto them. Giselle is allowed to roam free despite the fact she turned dozens of Soul Reapers into zombies, including three Captains. She is basically the right hand of the new Quincy leader, and she continues to control her puppets.
6 Bambietta Basterbine Continues To Serve Giselle As A Zombie

Bambietta was the self-appointed leader of the female Sternritter, and the argument can be made that she was Yhwach's strongest female soldier. She dealt serious damage to Captain Komamura during the first Quincy invasion, and she nearly killed Captain Hirako in the second invasion. Thanks to The Explode, anything Bambietta's Reishi touches turns into a powerful bomb.
Bambietta was severely wounded by Komamura's Bankai, and when she begged her friends for help, Giselle obliged by killing her and turning her into a zombie. She may be a puppet, but Bambietta is still technically alive. She still has her sadistic personality, access to her Schrift, and some of her free will, but other than that, she is completely under Giselle's control.
5 NaNaNa Najahkoop Becomes One Of Mayuri's Test Subjects
NaNaNa did not get as much screen time as other Sternritter, but he has a surprisingly useful ability. The Underbelly allows him to analyze his target's spiritual energy and place a grid-like pattern on their body. In doing so, NaNaNa can identify and attack the holes in their spiritual energy, which depletes their power until they are knocked unconscious. Aizen is one of the strongest Soul Reapers of all time, and NaNaNa temporarily neutralized him and his god-tier spiritual energy.
NaNaNa was still loyal to Yhwach after Auswahlen was used, and Bazz-B took him out by shooting him through the chest with his Burner Finger technique. He was left for dead, but according to Bleach: Can't Fear Your Own World, which is a cannonical light novel, he survived. In the years since the TYBW, NaNaNa became one of Captain Kurotsuchi's test subjects, which means he is in the same boat as the revived Arrancar that now serve Squad 12.
4 Liltotto Lamperd Becomes The Leader Of The Remaining Quincy
Liltotto does not look like much of a threat, but she is actually extremely dangerous. She was part of the group that wanted to kill Yhwach, and like Giselle, she was left critically wounded. For some reason, Yhwach spared Liltotto. Not only does she escape the Soul King's Palace, she becomes the leader of the remaining Quincy after the TYBW.
Liltotto deals with the Soul Society on the behalf of the Quincy, and she makes deals with the Soul Reapers. This is a bit strange considering Liltotto ate dozens of Soul Reapers during the second invasion. She did this with The Glutton, a Schrift that allows her to eat anything by elongating her jaw.
3 Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez Returns To Hueco Mundo And Searches For Strong Opponents

Grimmjow was the 6th Espada in Aizen's army, and he is one of the handful of confirmed Vasto Lorde Hollows. Many Bleach fans believed Grimmjow died in Las Noches after Nnoitra Gilga nearly cut him in half with a sneak attack. Not only did he survive, he grew stronger and developed some new abilities. Grimmjow killed Quilge and rescued Ichigo's friends before defeating Askin, one of Yhwach's royal guards, in the Soul King's Palace.
The Bleach: Can't Fear Your Own World light novel revealed that Grimmjow and Nel rescued Tier Harribel after Askin was defeated. He did not participate in the final battle, and when Yhwach was defeated, he returned to Hueco Mundo. Grimmjow is still active after the war. He refuses to submit to Hueco Mundo's new leadership and wanders around as a loose canon hoping to fight strong opponents like Ichigo again.
2 Tier Harribel Returns To Hueco Mundo And Rules As One Of Its Queens
As the former 3rd Espada, Harribel is the strongest female Arrancar in Bleach. She has the ability to create and control large quantities of water, and her shark-tooth-like sword can cut a Captain in half with a single swing. Harribel fought Captain Hitusgaya and two Vizored who were near Captain level with relative ease. She was the only Espada to not lose to the Soul Reapers, and it took a slash from Aizen to take her down.
Harribel survived Aizen's betrayal and became the de facto queen of Hueco Mundo, but she was easily defeated by Yhwach when the Quincy invaded. Instead of killing her, Yhwach kept her prisoner, but she was freed off-screen. Harribel does not work with the Soul Society, but she continues to rule over Hueco Mundo, except she now shares the position with Nel.
1 Sosuke Aizen Remains Imprisoned In Muken
Aizen falls into the category of anime antagonists who should have been the final villain because he was the primary villain for most of Bleach's story. Yhwach named him one of the Five Special War Powers because of his immeasurable Spiritual Energy. Aizen could take on most of the Soul Reaper Captains solo, and his Zanpakuto's complete hypnosis is powerful enough to affect Yhwach's omnipotence.
Aizen obtained immortality after he fused with the Hogyoku. This is the main reason why Yhwach was unable to kill him during the final battle. Aizen may be a villain, but he helped to defeat Yhwach. Unfortunately, this aid did nothing to lessen his sentence. He may not be as evil as he once was, but after the TYBW, Aizen is still imprisoned in Muken, where most of his movement and power is sealed.
