One Piece: 8 Biggest Rivals Of Nika

Nika, also known as the Warrior of Liberation, is a godly entity in the One Piece world. Currently, the person who holds the title of Sun God Nika is none other than Luffy, as he ate the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika. This Devil Fruit has given him an awakened form that allows him to transform into Nika, as seen in the fight against Kaido. Nika is incredibly powerful and, as the Warrior of Liberation, he can fight as he likes with incredible freedom.

Nika also brings Joy and laughter to the faces of people. However, most importantly, Nika has a role to fulfill, and is to find the One Piece as well as free the world from the terror of the World Government. On his journey, Nika faces several rivals, some who wish to compete with him and others who want to eliminate him.

8 Eustass Kid

• Haki: Color of Armament, Color of Observation, Color of the Supreme King
• Bounty: 3 Billion Berries

Eustass Kid is a powerful pirate with a bounty of 3 billion berries on his head. As a member of the Worst Generation, Kid is a rival to Luffy, and he also aims for the One Piece. Kid isn't the man that Roger is waiting for; however, that doesn't stop him from trying to get his hands on the grand treasure of the One Piece. While he was defeated by Shanks in their fight, he will, in the future, play another major role in the story, even if it is from the sidelines.

7 Trafalgar Law

Trafalgar Law is also a member of the Worst Generation and a feared pirate from the North Blue. Law is a pirate worth 3 billion berries and among the strongest in the entire world right now.

While he isn't technically a rival to Luffy, he does intend to find the One Piece and find out the true meaning of the D and those with a checkered fate. In that sense, Law is certainly in a race with Luffy and wants to get to the One Piece before anyone else. This makes Law a rival to Nika. For now, Law has fallen behind in the race after losing to Blackbeard on Weiner Island.

6 Buggy

• Bounty: 3.189 Billion Berries

Buggy might just be one of the biggest rivals that Luffy has right now. He is among the newly elected Yonko, after the fall of Big Mom and Kaido. Buggy has a bounty of 3.189 billion berries, which is staggering and even higher than that of Luffy. He is also at the helm of the Cross Guild, and that certainly means that he is feared and respected all over the world.

Furthermore, Buggy intends to get to the One Piece before Luffy or anyone else and fulfill the destiny by himself. This, by definition, makes Buggy a rival to Nika Luffy.

5 Kaido

• Haki: Color of Armament, Color of Observation, Color of the Supreme King
• Bounty: 4.61 Billion Berries

Kaido was one of the Four Emperors of the Sea before the events of the Wano arc, and at the same time, he was also one of the strongest known pirates. Kaido possessed tremendous strength and an overwhelming aura.

Few could hold their own against him, and it was his overwhelming presence that crushed the vast majority of the pirates that he was competing against. Kaido was waiting in anticipation for years for the arrival of Joy Boy to test himself against him. In the end, he ended up losing to him. His current whereabouts remain unknown; however, at one point, he was one of Nika's biggest rivals.

4 Shanks

Shanks is a world-renowned pirate and also one of the Four Emperors of the Sea. He is incredibly powerful and, among the current Yonko, he has the highest bounty at 4.0489 billion berries.

Shanks is so powerful that even Kid couldn't stand up to him in battle in any way or form. Furthermore, he is now directly aiming for the One Piece and intends to seek it for himself. This makes him a rival to the current Nika, and it would be interesting to see how he fits the narrative going forward.

3 Blackbeard

• Bounty: 3.996 Billion Berries

Blackbeard might be the biggest rival that Nika has currently. While Nika is the Sun God, Blackbeard is darkness itself. He has the power of both the Yami Yami no Mi and, at the same time, the Gura Gura no Mi as well. His two overpowered abilities make him a force to be reckoned with.

Blackbeard surely wants to take the One Piece for himself, and in the Great Pirate Era, he is mostly going to be the biggest threat that Nika faces, other than Imu and the Five Elders.

2 Warrior God of Elbaf

• Bounty: 2.6 Billion Berries Special Bounty

The Warrior God of Elbaf is known to be a legendary individual who existed long ago, likely during the Void Century. This individual was revealed to us in the Elbaf arc in chapter 1175. The Warrior God wielded the power of the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Nidhoggr, using which he could transform into the giant black dragon, Nidhoggr. With its powers, he could rival Nika in battle alongside Ragnir.

While the true name of the former Warrior God is unknown, it is believed to be Dozan, whom Imu ended up killing. In the current timeline, the Warrior God of Elbaf is none other than Loki, who gained the power of the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Nidhoggr 14 years ago. Loki fights alongside Ragnir and stands as one of the strongest characters in the entire series. He is also one of the allies of Luffy, despite initially starting a rivalry with him.

1 Nerona Imu

By far, the biggest rival and enemy of Monkey D. Luffy, or Nika, in general, is Nerona Imu. Imu is the ruler of the World Government as well as its creator. He is the one who fought against Joy Boy 800 years ago and the one primarily responsible for his death. Imu holds the power of the Akuma no Mi, which is a powerful fruit that allows him to transform into the devil itself.

Imu can also use the power of Omen, which is a special black flame that he can use for various purposes in battle. Imu has already beaten Nika once, and in the current world order, he has already begun his fight against the current Nika, Monkey D. Luffy. Nerona Imu's powers know no bounds, but at the end of the story, he must perish at the hands of Nika Luffy.
