A brand-new Kingdom Come: Deliverance board game is on the way, with a fall 2026 release window already confirmed. The Kingdom Come: Deliverance board game comes from two accomplished board game designers, a great sign that it will be able to live up to the critical success of the video games.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a series of role-playing games from Czech Republic-based developer Warhorse Studios, which allows players to explore an authentic recreation of the Kingdom of Bohemia. The most recent game in the series, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, was a critical hit upon its release last year and was eventually nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2025. It recently hit the six million sales milestone, too, indicating commercial success as well.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is Getting a Board Game Later This Year
The Kingdom Come: Deliverance board game was officially revealed by Czech Games, revealing everything players can expect when it arrives in fall 2026. It's set to feature a fully illustrated map of the Sázava region in the Kingdom of Bohemia, as well as over 700 playing cards. The game boasts 10 main storylines, as well as 80+ additional storyline cards, with 70+ Kingdom Come: Deliverance side quests to complete. It also comes with different boards, including four double-layered player boards, a merchant board, a potions board, and a day board, so no expense has been spared in bringing the KCD experience to life here. It does feature a hefty $199.99 price tag, as well as an optional extra of 75 metal coins to play with for an additional $49.99, but it looks as though it justifies this price through its sheer number of features.

This Kingdom Come: Deliverance adaptation comes from two acclaimed board game designers, Vlaada Chvátil and Tomáš Holek. Chvátil designed Spiel des Jahres winner Codenames, as well as Through the Ages and Mage Knight, among many more. Meanwhile, Holek is a much newer name to the industry, but with the acclaimed SETI: Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence under his belt, it looks as though Kingdom Come: Deliverance is in safe hands. The upcoming board game is expected to ship in Q4 2026, and is available for pre-order right now.
On the video game side of things, series developer Warhorse Studios confirmed last month that a new Kingdom Come: Deliverance game is releasing next year. Given the seven-year wait between the first two titles, this definitely came as a surprise to most. The studio is also working on a new Lord of the Rings game, which feels like a strong fit between IP and developer.
