Vampire Crawlers is a rogue-like deck builder that'll have you playing well into the night as you fight monsters, level up, explore the map, and uncover more crawlers to use against the enemies. There are 22 crawlers you can use in the game, and once you start unlocking them, you'll start to see that some of them are just better to play than others.
With so many options and the need to unlock them, you'll probably want to check out how to unlock each character so you can get who you want for the best run. So, here's a tier list of all the vampire crawlers in the game to determine who's the best to use for your runs.
Complete Vampire Crawlers Tier List
When it comes to ranking characters in Vampire Crawlers, the characters who contribute the most to being able to create infinite combos during a run will be the highest-ranked characters.
Starting stats, card draw ability, and the ability to create those combos are all factored into choosing what tier each character will fall in. So, here's every character in the game and how good they are.
S+ Tier
|
Name |
Description |
|
MissingNO |
His stats are ridiculously good, as he gives you a ton of stats through your run. He also draws cards when you play the most commonly used cards in the game, the Red cards. Card draw is one of the most powerful aspects in the game, so you'll have so many cards to choose from when using him. |
S Tier
|
Name |
Description |
|---|---|
|
Giovanna Grana |
She buffs some of your crucial stats, like Hand and Mana, and, like MissingNo, she draws cards by using Purple Mana instead of Red. |
|
Pugnala Provola |
She has good starting stats with Hand +2, which is crucial to start with. She also draws cards like the others in the tier, but from the Yellow support cards instead. |
|
O'Sole Meeo |
Provides you with a Red attack card that generates a Wild card, which allows you to constantly combo. |
A Tier
|
Name |
Description |
|---|---|
|
Porta Ladonna |
Her strength lies in her ability to add one Mana when a Red card is played, so you don't have to depend on Purple cards and can keep using combos. |
|
Poe Ratcho |
The only card draw crawler not in S-tier, because he draws cards when you play Blue cards, which are defensive cards that won't help you clear or combo efficiently. He's a safe choice, but the others are better for card draw. |
|
Arca Ladonna |
He can double up on Purple cards. He adds more Mana when Purple cards are played, making combos easier to pull off. |
|
Imelda Belpaese |
She grants you EXP when you play her, and when you level up, allowing you to get an additional card. This lets you build into combos and infinites much faster. |
|
Krochi Freetto |
He's the only character that grants you revival, which is a powerful boon. His kit combos into itself, making it a very strong option. |
|
Iguana Gallo Valletto |
He has a lot of starting stats to help your run, and he provides you with enough coins during runs that you'll be able to buy all the upgrades you want. Both of his abilities are tied to making money, so he's a great option. |
B Tier
|
Name |
Description |
|---|---|
|
Pasqualina Belpaese |
She can increase your hand by one when a Purple card is played, which is very strong. She starts with one of the strongest Red cards in the game as well, making her worth taking on a run. |
|
Poppea Pecorina |
Poppea has a decent stat boost, and her starting kit provides you with a solid starting deck of Mana, card draw, and damage. |
|
Suor Clerici |
Clerici has decent starting stats, and she's one of two characters that can heal you, which is very useful to have since healing is so limited. |
C-Tier
These characters, though they may have useful attacks or decent stats, do not provide any game-breaking opportunities or skills to your run to be worth adding to the tier list any higher than this.
