Neverness to Everness gives you tons of leeway in an open world full of anime goodness, with eccentric characters that have unique fighting styles and elements that'll combine ot form some pretty cool animations and opportunities with the battle system in the game.
Bright, bubbly, and riding a jellyfish, Aurelia is an adorable addition to your roster, and she's got some unique moves that make her well worth investing in. Once you get the hang of using Aurelia, you'll be able to unlock her full potential. She's great for AoE options, and you can get her for free by just playing the game. Here's how to effectively use Aurelia.
Aurelia Overview And Esper Ability Priority
Aurelia is a main DPS character with a unique fighting stance that's great for handling several enemies at once with a penchant for AoE damage. She deals Psyche damage, and you'll mostly have her riding her jellyfish around the battlefield, dealing damage as she shoots enemies in her path.
Because she uses her jellyfish to move, she can't climb or vault over stuff, but she gets a higher jump and special boosts to her gliding and swimming.
You won't really be spamming her basic attacks, as most of her damage and the ability to use her kit come from her critical dodge done during Staccato.
Aurelia's Esper Abilities
|
Ability Name |
Type |
Description |
|---|---|---|
|
Legato |
Basic Attack |
Your regular attack performs four consecutive attacks against an enemy with Psyche damage. |
|
Staccato |
Basic Attack |
Hold Dodge while moving to ride your jellyfish around, quickly sprinting across the field. Riding like this generates a jellyfish blast at intervals when you're near a target. While in this state, you can perform a special dodge, the Critical Dodge Riposte: Syncopations, which, when dodging, will shoot four blasts automatically. |
|
Portamento |
Basic Attack |
Aurelia drops from the sky, dealing 1 Psyche DKG on impact, with damage based on fall height. |
|
Critical Riposte: Syncopation |
Basic Attack |
Perform a basic attack after a Critical Dodge, dealing damage to the area and reducing Break. |
|
Cadenza Aria |
Skill |
Aurelia deals AoE Psyche DMG and enters the Cadenza state. Cadenza allows her to deal 70 percent more damage with her jellyfish blasts and inflicts AoE damage to enemies around the target she's hitting. |
|
Canon Chorus |
Ultimate |
Aurelia shoots out damage to every enemy around her, dealing AoE Psyche DMG and slightly pulling them in together. |
|
Support Skill |
Support |
Strike an enemy dealing Psyche DMG on a hit. |
By holding the dodge button, she rides her jellyfish quickly around the battlefield, sprinting and targeting nearby enemies with Psyche damage.
In this stage, she can still dodge, and successfully dodging will shoot off four jellyfish blasts to deal extra damage. This routine of riding your jellyfish and dishing out damage is what she'll be doing most of the time, so you'll want to get used to it.
All of this requires stamina, so you'll need to manage your stamina properly to stay in the fight with the best DPS outcome. Riding her jellyfish around the battlefield and effectively using her special dodge options will get you the most success.
You'll want to juggle your stamina but keep her in Staccato, as that's where most of your damage will come from. She starts off a little slow due to having to hold dodge and get your ability started, so remember this when switching her in and out.
When upgrading her skills, focus on upgrading her passives first, as this is where she will deal the most damage. Follow up with her basic skills that proc her passives. After, focus on her ultimate, then do the rest of the upgrades as you see fit.

Best Arcs For Aurelia
Once you've logged into NTE for a total of ten days, the login reward is the Arc Stellar Veil. Made for Plasma characters only, it works well enough for an option for Aurelia, but it's not the best option for her to start with.
|
Ready-Ready |
The Critical Riposte boost here is invaluable, as that's where most of your damage will come from on Aurelia. The flast 15% ATK boost is also great to stack on. |
|
Stellar Veil |
Made for Aurelia, you get a decent Psych DMG increase and a Crit DMG boost when using Psyche damaging abilities, meaning you'll always stack on more damage here. Though once leveled up, you'll want to replace Ready-Ready with this. |
|
Fluff of Fortitude |
Another Plasma Arc, you'll get a straight DMG increase of 22%, which increases when the enemy's HP is low. |
Best Cartridge For Aurelia
You'll want the Psyche DMG bonus on your chosen cartridges. The best in slot for Aurelia is the Devil's Blood: Curse. If you don't have that one, you can substitute it for another option until you can get your hands on it.

Name |
Type |
Description |
|---|---|---|
|
Devil's Blood: Curse |
Main choice |
This Cartridge gives you the Psyche DMG increase you'll want while increasing Aurelia's overall damage. The damage is increased against enemies with Nova or Stain, both of which Aurelia can do with the right team. |
|
Lost Radiance |
Secondary option |
Ignores some of the enemy's defense after casting your Ultimate, allowing you to deal even more damage. |
Best Teams For Aurelia
Depending on your currency and your luck, you can outfit Aurelia with teams that'll help take advantage of her Stain, Discord, and Nova applications. Here are a few teams based on your spending habits.
|
Aurelia Premium Team |
Aurelia, Hathor, Daffodil, Jiuyuan |
|---|---|
|
Aurelia Alternate Team |
Aurelia, Daffodil, Adler, Haniel |
|
Aurelia F2P Team |
Aurelia, Adler, Esper/Zero, Flex Spot |
If you can afford it, the premium team features several S-rank characters that give Aurelia access to Stain, Nova, and Discord. This allows Nova skills to be used, increases the Psyche and Lakshana DMG, and deducts the target's Break gauge by a certain percentage. You don't need Hathor or Jiuyuan on the field for long either, giving Aurelia more time to use her abilities and shine.
You'll have to splurge for Daffodil here, but you'll get Nova working for both Haniel and Aurelia, as Daffodil is currently the only Chaos character. Adler provides decent shielding, though you can use Esper/Zero here instead. You'll get tons of burst damage out of this team.
The F2P team works well with characters you'll get for free. Adler is your debuffer that also gives shields. Esper/Zero helps with burst damage and can be swapped quickly alongside Adler to give Aurelia time to shine. The final spot works well for whatever flex character you might receive, filling in a buffer or DPs slot to help Aurelia clear up any enemies.
Aurelia Awakening Priority
Her awakening progression is actually quite straightforward. Most of her awakening options actually make it well worth grabbing a duplicate or two of Aurelia, especially since the first copy is free. If you plan on investing in her, here's the perfect awakening priority order.
|
Priority Order |
Name |
Description |
|---|---|---|
|
1 |
Futuristic Prelude |
This increases her Crit rate while in her Cadenza state by 15%. Because you'll constantly want to be in Cadenza, this is your best awakening option. |
|
2 |
Unique Melody |
Aurelia enters Cadenza for five seconds after a successful Critical Dodge or extends the duration if already active. This pairs well with Futuristic Prelude, keeping her in Cadenza for as long as possible, giving you the best DPS output. |
|
3 |
Trio Rest |
Aurelia gains a 20% DMG boost in Cadenza state with Canon Chorus, another option pairing well with the other two awakening abilities and boosting her damage output. |
|
4 |
Simple Melody |
You'll increase Aurelia's Canon Chorus Crit Rate by 15% to stack with the damage boost from Trio Rest. |
|
5 |
Bygone Fugue |
Increases the maximum number of Crescendo Stacks to 20, and grants 10 after using Cadenza Aria. |
|
6 |
Staff Gap |
Increases her Def by 20% when using her basic attack Staccato. |
You want to focus on the crit rate and damage increases that build off one another if done in this specific order. Since you want to be in Cadenza at all times, increase your Crit Rate there first, then stack onto that by extending its duration and utilizing a bonus from the Critical Dodge you'll be doing anyway while in that form.
