Jacob is a professional Dungeon Master, avid gamer, and aspiring designer. With an ever-expanding library of games and content to catch up on, he stays immersed in as many fantastic worlds as he can.

Years of role-playing and storytelling has built his knowledge of the TTRPG hobby. Studying game design and playing a breadth of games provided Jacob insight on mechanics and inner-workings of the art that is games.

He adores working on RPG content, including his own custom modules and game systems. Jacob lets his creative nature flourish mainly through writing content about Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop role-playing games.

Favorite Games

Enjoying an ecletic selection of games and media, some of his favorites in first-person gaming are Dying Light, and Superhot. Jacob loves many indie releases as well, including A Hat in Time and Megabyte Punch. Recently he's enjoyed the titles Elden Ring and Baldur's Gate 3.

Any game exhibiting incredible story, art, or gameplay can draw him in. Jacob also favors tabletop gaming as much as its digital counterpart.

Proudest Gaming Achievement

Jacob claims his greatest moment as completing the orignal Mirror's Edge in a challenge run. Successfully navigating the entire story in one sitting without deaths or checkpoint use, also while playing as a pacifist. This means completing a perfect full run without using in-game weapons or utilizing lethal force.

He would also state that completing chapter eight "Kate" while under these restrictions is a very special kind of punishment.
