Industry Focus

As a Senior Staff Writer, Charles covered the ins and outs of popular live service titles. Destiny 2 was his main focus, covering everything from new seasonal activities to in-depth breakdowns of buildcrafting systems. After the game's final update, Charles moved on to new beginnings. At least the stars will remember the shape he gave them.

Favorite Games

Charles feels right at home with most FPS titles, RPGs, and the rare RTS game that releases.

His love for PC gaming started with Dawn of War and quickly expanded to other genres. Fallout: New Vegas is his favorite RPG of all time, followed by Baldur's Gate 3. And when he's not convincing others that Deus Ex is the best PC game ever made, he's singing the praises of Doom 2016, XCOM, and just about every From Software title.

Proudest Gaming Achievement

Completing Destiny 2 raids on Contest difficulty is the pinnacle achievement for any Destiny player. Charles holds fond memories of beating Atraks-1, Rhulk, and Oryx with his close-knit group of friends.

His favorite day one clear is D2 King's Fall, requiring his fireteam to clear the entire raid not once but twice within 24 hours. He proudly wears the Tyrant emblem to this day.
