In this week's Marconi, Annie Krukowska introduces the concept of “liquid content”—where it’s not the show itself, but the format that enables ideas to flow seamlessly across platforms, geographies and business models. In an era of Feudal Media, where distribution is fragmented and platforms guard their kingdoms, formats offer something rare: portability, scalability and control. Read Annie's latest for TVREV 👇

Most people are constantly chasing new content ideas. But the real leverage comes from this: idea expansion, not idea creation. Take one proven concept: “The 7 Levels of Rappers” Now watch what happens when you bend it: → The 7 Levels of TV Shows → The 7 Levels of Cartoons → The 7 Levels of Breaking Bad → The 7 Levels of the Internet Same core framework. Multiple executions. This is how high-performing creators think: They don’t reinvent the wheel they replicate winning structures across niches. The result? More content, faster production, and higher probability of virality. If you’re building a content system, focus less on “new ideas” and more on scalable formats. That’s where real growth comes from.

Optimizing video quality starts with understanding stream encoding. When uploading, using high-bitrate formats like H.265 10-bit 4:2:2 or ProRes at 25 frames per second ensures preservation of frame rate and color quality. This workflow minimizes banding and delivers the best possible visual output, especially when platforms like YouTube transcode in real-time at 30 frames per second. Higher levels of initial quality directly translate to superior final results. #VideoProduction #VideoEncoding #ContentCreation #DigitalMedia #PostProduction

Broadcast archiving is often treated as a secondary function. Yet it can serve as a practical tool for control and claims management. The key question is whether the archive gives users fast access, preserves content integrity, and stores enough metadata about the broadcast itself to verify disputed moments quickly and handle claims without a chaotic search for proof. At WEBREC, we approach broadcast recording as a control function. That means event logging, cataloguing by selected criteria, and fast access to the exact recording required. Users get 24/7 access to preserved broadcast recordings through an intuitive interface. They can quickly find the required transmission and the related information, and also create social media clips by selecting relevant fragments and adding graphics. When an archive becomes an active control tool, it starts delivering real operational value. #BroadcastArchiving #MediaOperations #BroadcastOperations #Compliance #ClaimsManagement #BroadcastMonitoring #MediaTechnology #ContentControl #ContentIntegrity #MediaWorkflow #WEBREC

For 30 years, we've known better creative drives better results. Yet creative compensation has collapsed 75% while media spend exploded 7x. Why? Because we never built financial infrastructure to prove creative's worth. We call creative 'critical' while funding it like a commodity. Full framework in first comment.
