Responsibilities:

• Responsible in providing day to day operational services
• Ability to work flexible hours, which may include evening, weekends, and holidays
• Process new and refill patient prescription orders, preparation, and dispense medications
• Work closely with Pharmacy Technicians and Order Entry Technicians in the preparation and dispensing of medications
• Proficient in clinical interpretation; drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interaction and allergies
• Performs accurately and efficiently when dispensing medications
• Communicates with prescribers and other health care provider
• Ensures safety practices and procedures are followed
• Assist in the enforcement of all company and departmental policies and procedures
• Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practices
• Customer-Centered and strives to exceed customer expectations

Qualifications:

• B.S. or PharmD Degree in Pharmacy
• Must have current Pharmacist Licensure in PA in good standing
• 1+ year’s recent experience in long term care (preferred), retail, or hospital pharmacy
• Experience and knowledge base of intravenous admixtures services preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with English as the primary language
• Must have strong customer service skills, time management skills, and ability to problem solve
