Together, we provided: 🎒 Backpacks and school supplies for local students 💉 Immunizations from CVS Pharmacy 🥕 Fresh produce and wellness resources 🏠 Support for affordable housing Highlights included a $100,000 CVS Health grant to Windy City Harvest, a wellness and resource fair for Grace Manor residents and continued work that builds on CVS Health's nearly $18 million investment in affordable housing. Nearly two-thirds of Americans say they plan to get a flu shot this season, according to a new CVS Health survey. Among those planning to get vaccinated, 68% expect to do so by the end of October. Updated 2026-2027 flu vaccines are now available at CVS Pharmacy and CVS MinuteClinic locations nationwide. People in rural communities face a 40% higher risk of heart disease than people in cities. It's one sign of a bigger pattern. 42% of Medicare beneficiaries live with at least one heart condition, and 28% of Medicaid members are affected by cardiovascular disease. Different communities face different barriers to preventing and managing heart disease.
