Shortly after, I jumped headfirst into the affiliate world as a Commerce Account Manager at Sovrn. I felt re-inspired reconnecting with my marketing roots from college and loved the challenge of learning a new industry while it was constantly evolving. Unfortunately, after 10 short months, I was impacted by recent layoffs. While this wasn’t the outcome I hoped for, I’m proud of the contributions I made and am grateful for the experience. To the incredible people I had the opportunity to work with, thank you. I’m taking a few days to finally get in some snowboarding (!) before getting back out there. I’m actively exploring roles within the affiliate space—whether on the network, brand, or agency side—and would love to connect. Here’s to new adventures in 2026. ✨✨

He was captain of the squash team and kept overtraining. He'd get fitter and fitter, then fall off a cliff. No wearable on the market could tell him why. So he read 500 medical papers and wrote his own research paper on how to continuously monitor the human body. That paper became the business plan for WHOOP. He launched in 2012 with no engineering background, no medical degree, and no product experience. For 18 months the company had three months of runway. At one point they were two days from filing for bankruptcy. Then he made a decision that changed everything. Instead of selling to everyday consumers, he went straight to the most elite athletes in the world. LeBron James. Michael Phelps. Cristiano Ronaldo. If the best athletes on the planet trusted WHOOP, everyday consumers would follow. They did. 2.5 million members. $1.1 billion bookings run rate. Cash flow positive in 2025. Yesterday: $575 million Series G at a $10.1 billion valuation. He started because he didn't understand his own body. 14 years later, 2.5 million people trust him to understand theirs.
