Lindi DeGrant shared thisThis was a great experience with 11 Ounces. True pros in the biz that were able to bring this vision to life. Working with new products isn’t always easy but when you have the right team in place to guide and troubleshoot, you will be set up for success!Lindi DeGrant shared thisTo close out women's history month, we’re taking a look back at the Rolling Stone Radio Show on Amazon Music’s live radio app #Amp that we directed and produced featuring the ubiquitous Ice Spice. Hear the Bronx bombshell, and the new Princess of Rap, explain to host Jon Weigell how a couple of Queen MC's helped to pave the way for her meteoric rise in #hiphop . Amp gives creators the power to run the airwaves. The mobile app provides everyone with the tools to pick up the mic, create a playlist, and host their own live radio show. We launched Rolling Stone’s weekly radio show on Amp last year, producing 8 episodes on the new platform featuring artist from Smino, Alex Isley, Bas, Masego, Westside Boogie, RexxLife Raj, Jean Deaux and Ice Spice Watch Smino discuss his life in 10 songs here: https://lnkd.in/eRt5AWzK https://lnkd.in/eUp6mpqC S/o: Lindi DeGrant Eric Daniel Horn Tom Fama #Artist #rollingstone #amazonmusic #OnAmp #Content #music #musicnews #liveproduction #liveradio #womenshistorymonth #womenempowermentWith her My Life in 10 Songs, Ice Spice Remains Unapologetically HerselfWith her My Life in 10 Songs, Ice Spice Remains Unapologetically Herself

Lindi DeGrant shared thisGentle reminder for those of us that are often the “only” in the room!Lindi DeGrant shared thisThere have been and continues to be times when I am the “only” one in the room - only woman, only black woman and/or only mom. And while I have earned every single seat in my career, it’s taken time to grow into confidently being at the table. So I can’t stress this advice enough. Yes be humble and a great listener but also ask the question that everyone can learn from and share the random good idea before someone else does. Thank you Captivate, LLC for selecting me to participate in this year’s Women in Business series. It was a great accomplishment to bring this initiative to life as a team member and to now be featured is a pretty cool honor. #womenshistorymonth #womeninbusiness

Lindi DeGrant shared thisMy 2022 Rolling Stone Branded Content Program Highlights Client: Audible Program: Leveraging Rolling Stone’s unique position at the intersection of music and culture and our crown-jewel editorial platform, Musicians on Musicians, our brands will marry both storytelling and music in support of Audible’s Words + Music. Print: Back cover shoot with John Legend + Common Digital: 2x Breakthrough artists sharing their story while highlighting W+M artist volumes Pro Tip: Talent preparation is key, especially when speaking on brand products. While some talent is able to shine through no matter what, don’t rely on that alone. You want to make sure your host and guest talent know the functionality of the platform and your production team is fluent in backend tech jargon (shout out to 11 Ounces). Lindi DeGrant shared thisThis is a reminder to support the Black women in your organization. 🖤Lindi DeGrant shared thisLooking for “something to do” for #BlackHistoryMonth ? 🖤 Support the Black Women in your organization 🖤 “Compared to other women at their level, Black women leaders are more likely to have colleagues question their competence and to be subjected to demeaning behavior—and one in three Black women leaders says they’ve been denied or passed over for opportunities because of personal characteristics, including their race and gender. Frustratingly, Black women also ranked dead last in their experience of manager support—managers showing interest in their career, checking in on their well-being and promoting inclusion—as compared to other identities including men, all women, LGBTQ women, women with disabilities, white women, Asian women and Latinas. Similarly, Black women ranked near last in experiencing sponsorship and allyship as well as psychological safety. The truth is that we don’t need another report detailing what we already know. Workplace experience and professional success in many ways remain stubbornly tethered to both gender and race leaving Black women relegated to the bottom of the corporate caste system. Blackness and femaleness have never been sources of systemic advantage in corporate spaces. The disparities and inequities have long been proven. Now we need the moral fortitude and collective will to actually do something about it.” — Forbes

Lindi DeGrant liked thisLindi DeGrant liked thisThis weekend I deejayed the WME Oscar party at Chateau Marmont. 🥂 The garden was filled with Oscar nominees, A-list actors, NFL players, Olympic medalists — the kind of room where conversations matter as much - if not more - than the music. My job wasn't to get everyone on the dance floor - although we definitely had that going on as well. It was to set a vibe that elevated every moment without competing with it. There's an art to knowing when to push energy and when to pull back. When to let a song breathe. When the room needs texture, not tempo. A good DJ reads the room. But a great DJ also knows what kind of room they're in. Some nights you're there to make people move. Other nights you're there to make people feel something while they talk, connect, and celebrate. Saturday night at Chateau Marmont was the latter. Perfect vibes for various perfect moments. (Though I'd be lying if I said I didn't slip into a Big Daddy Kane / Brooklyn set right when Chris Rock walked by. Some things you just have to do. 😂) Grateful to the amazing team at WME | William Morris Endeavor for trusting me with such a special evening. And congrats to Michael B. Jordan on his Oscar win - I wrote a fun little Substack about his creative journey to this point. Link in comments.

One of the most surprising insights from IGN Entertainment's 2025 Gaming Trends event: two of the most-played games right now were built inside Roblox by amateurs, in just a few days and have millions of users! John Davison, SVP of Publishing, gave a data-backed deep dive into where the gaming industry is headed and it offered many thought-provoking takeaways for anyone thinking about the future of audience engagement. Big thanks to the IGN team for the invite. Always great to hear from people putting in the work to understand what's going on now and what is shaping what's coming next. Kim Hatfield, Elias Friedman

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, El Pollo Loco partnered with Cognition Interactive on The Lost Murals of LA; a campaign designed to spotlight Latino art and culture by digitally restoring three historic murals that had been painted over across Los Angeles. Using custom AR on Snapchat, we: 1) Partnered with the LA Art Council and collaborated directly with the original muralists to source archival imagery 2) Brought the murals back to life at their original locations via AR signage 3) Connected Angelenos to the city’s rich artistic heritage in an interactive, meaningful way The results spoke volumes: 📺 Coverage on NBC Los Angeles, USA Today, Cheddar, and BeLatina 📰 69 earned media placements 🌍 322M+ media impressions This project proves that when technology meets storytelling, we can honor history while inspiring future generations. Cognition was proud to play a part in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month and to give the artists themselves the chance to see their work reborn. Give the video three minutes of your time. It’s more important than ever to share and preserve these stories. Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! #HispanicHeritageMonth #AR #ExperientialMarketing #CulturalHeritage #CognitionInteractive

International Women’s Day 2026 carries a powerful message: Give To Gain. Building Pink Caviar Events has always been about contribution. Raising standards. Sharing knowledge. Creating opportunity. Contributing to conversations that shape our industry. I believe progress happens when we intentionally give our time, insight and support to others. When we elevate the room around us, we elevate the industry as a whole. This year’s theme is a reminder that leadership is not about titles. It is about contribution. #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2026 #GiveToGain #EventsIndustry #Leadership #EventsMatter

Seth Dechtman - Expert Keynote Curator
The Keynote Curators • 7K followers
Most keynote speakers think the path to more event bookings is getting funnier, more polished, and more technically perfect. Bruce Turkel explains why that's completely backwards. Bruce has keynoted for Fortune 500 companies worldwide and founded Turkel Brands, working with Discovery Networks, Bacardi, American Express, and more. His book All About Them hit Forbes' top ten business books list, so he knows what actually gets speakers hired—and keeps them working. Here's the truth: You absolutely need world-class craft. But that alone won't get you booked. In other words, being technically great is just the price of admission. The mindset shift that changes everything? Understanding that events aren't stages for your performance—they're vehicles designed to transmit values, initiatives, and outcomes. Your job is to serve that vehicle, not showcase your skills. • Master your craft at a world-class level (it's necessary, just not sufficient) • Use stagecraft to transmit messaging that makes 2,000 people feel like you're talking to each of them • View yourself as part of a vehicle, not the main attraction • Remember that audiences don't separate you from the event—you either add to the experience or take away from it The speakers who build sustainable careers aren't always the most talented. Instead, they're the ones who understand their role is bigger than their individual performance. If you're a speaker trying to book more gigs or a meeting professional selecting talent, this perspective changes how you approach everything. Watch the full conversation for more on what actually creates impact at events. 🎯 Watch the full interview here: https://lnkd.in/ecjVdTh7 🚀 Transform your event with keynote speaker Bruce Turkel: https://lnkd.in/eAtz8723 📞 Let's discuss your event's messaging strategy: https://lnkd.in/eXPtNjfs 📧 Connect with us: info@thekeynotecurators.com "Improving your craft is crucial. You need to be at a world class level to have people pay you, to get up to talk to their people. Absolutely. But just improving your craft is not gonna get you hired." — Bruce Turkel "You are part of the greater whole, and you have to be not only respectful, but also supportive of what's going on so that the person in the audience feels even better about themselves because they're part of what's going on." — Bruce Turkel Ross Bernstein, CSP, CPAE, GSF Sam Richter CSP, CPAE Rashmi Airan Gaby Natale Victoria Labalme Carolyn Strauss, CSP, CRP David Avrin #ProfessionalSpeaking #EventSpeakers #SpeakerMindset #Storytelling #EventImpact

Just finished reviewing a strong PCMA wrap-up that Kara shared. It hit on exactly what we are hearing from planners right now: rising AV costs, small teams stretched thin, budget constraints, and internal resistance to change. What stood out to me the most is these are not technology problems. They are support and structure problems. A few things I keep seeing planners want: - Clear, itemized scopes so budgets can flex - Regional and right-sized crews to reduce unnecessary costs - Extra services like show calling when internal bandwidth is tight - Incremental change instead of big reinventions - Sponsor packages built around interaction, not just logos - Treating AV partners like part of the planning team Appreciate you Kara, for pulling this together and keeping the focus on what actually moves the needle. 👏

At Augeo Experience, our partnership with Event Leaders Exchange (ELX) has been one of the most valuable collaborations we've had over the past 3+ years. It gives us a front-row seat to the challenges our clients face, allowing us to continuously learn and contribute meaningfully to the events industry. ELX just released their Future-Ready Leadership whitepaper, a research study surveying nearly 100 global event leaders, and some of the findings are truly eye-opening. A few that stick out to us: Chapter 2 - The Innovation Illusion: Leaders spend just 12% of their time on innovation, and the average team only innovates 5% of their program annually. Despite good intentions, execution is stuck in the same formats year after year. Chapter 3 - The AI Gap: While 69% of event leaders are using AI, most are barely scratching the surface, primarily for copywriting. Very few are leveraging AI for measurement, forecasting, or strategic planning, even though these areas are top priorities. Chapter 4 - The Measurement Crisis: While 98% of ELX members score program delivery as "good" or "excellent," only 46% say the same for measurement. Even more concerning: 28% admit they either don't have KPIs or don't know if their events meet them. Here's what this tells us: We need to get uncomfortable. Real progress requires taking risks, investing in the right areas, and being willing to challenge the status quo. The good news? The data shows a clear path forward. There's a positive correlation between robust measurement practices and higher attendee experience scores. Technology use directly correlates with impact on business goals. And 56% of leaders say they plan to increase investment in innovation. The capability and desire are there. What's needed now is the support system to turn ambition into action… and that's where strategic partnerships make all the difference. At Augeo Experience, we see this every day: when clients have the right partners pushing alongside them, innovation moves from aspiration to reality. The events industry has never been more critical to business success, but to secure its future we all need to lead with courage and conviction. Full whitepaper: https://lnkd.in/ebxFn9RB Join Nicola Kastner, Chloe Richardson and others in the ELX community tomorrow for the first ever publicly available industry-wide webinar to learn more and be a part of the dialogue! The live events and experiential landscape just shifted again. This week, Jack Morton and Impact XM announced their merger, forming a unified global experiential partner under the Jack Morton name — spanning 20 offices and more than 1,000 specialists. It’s a clear signal of a wider trend: consolidation across agencies, production partners and experience suppliers. Scale can unlock real advantages — investment, global reach, and simpler delivery for clients. But what makes live experience truly exceptional still sits in specialist craft, local knowledge, and deep delivery expertise — and those don’t automatically scale. The strongest models I’ve seen aren’t big versus small. They’re big platforms that still behave like specialists: keeping decision-making close to delivery, and remaining genuinely open to the best freelance and supplier talent. Curious what others are seeing across the industry: • Clients — does consolidation bring more confidence, or less flexibility? • Freelancers & suppliers — clearer pathways, or tighter margins? • Agencies — how are you protecting craft while scaling? #LiveEvents #EventProduction #ExperientialMarketing #AgencyMergers #EventProfs

Many events, including rehearsal dinners, may look simple on the surface, but the logistics behind a relaxed, welcoming evening are anything but. I was happy to share my perspective with "Let’s Get Rehearsed" on how to determine which vendors you truly need, and why trusting your planner is the fastest path to a stress‑free start to the weekend. If a professional can take something off your plate so you can be present with your people, they’re worth considering. That’s always my rule of thumb. https://lnkd.in/gsEzdhTX
