This year I was awarded the honor of speaking in the Hands-On-Developer track , and was able to present the topic of Portable Class Libraries to developers who could both immediately benefit and immediately implement the principals of writing code that is portable to multiple flavors of .NET (Windows Phone, Desktop and Windows Tablets) and across platforms (iOS and Android) using a tool like Xamarin.
