Bence Gazdag shared thisthis is what we've been up to! game changer for enterprise! #Rise_of_the_Autonomous_EnterpriseBence Gazdag shared this#Rise_of_the_Autonomous_Enterprise For decades, enterprise systems were built to record what happened. They captured transactions, enforced policy, and stored history. But they never moved work forward on their own. That model is now changing. We are entering a new phase where enterprise systems reason, decide, and act to continuously advance the business. This is the foundation of the autonomous enterprise. At Oracle, this shift is showing up in a new class of software: agentic applications. Instead of workflows waiting on people, agents operate with context, expertise, and clear goals: • Understand process and policy • Reason across signals and constraints • Take action inside the system • Continuously move work forward This is not automation layered on top. It is an architectural shift #Systems_of_Record_to_Systems_of_Outcomes Today, we announced 22 Fusion Agentic Applications at Oracle AI World London. Built natively into Oracle Fusion Applications, these applications use coordinated teams of agents to execute work across finance, HR, supply chain, and customer experience. Examples include: • Workforce Operations to improve scheduling and reduce payroll issues • Design-to-Source to lower supplier costs and cycle time • Cross-Sell Program Workspace to drive expansion revenue • Collections Workspace to accelerate cash flow These applications operate inside the system of record with full context, security, and governance. They don’t just assist. They execute. This is how we solve the last mile of AI. Execution inside real business processes. We are moving from systems that track work to systems that perform it. If you mention #Rise_of_the_Autonomous_Enterprise in the comments, I’ll share the full whitepaper. https://lnkd.in/gvhR7x9N

Bence Gazdag shared thisThis is a real game changer for B2B Marketing and Sales. The best technology and use of AI for this space I've seen so far! AI analyzes, plans and creates scenarios to optimize targeting and content in minutes that used to take months for human experts. #The_future_of_CX_is_agenticBence Gazdag shared thisCustomer experience is entering a new era. #The_future_of_CX_is_agentic. Today we announced a new set of delivered Oracle AI Agents embedded directly inside Oracle Fusion Cloud CX, helping organizations transform marketing, sales, and service into intelligent, proactive systems that drive growth and strengthen customer relationships. These are not assistants sitting on the side. These are embedded agents operating directly within core CX workflows, continuously analyzing unified data, automating processes, and helping teams act faster with confidence. #built_in_not_bolted_on! This marks a fundamental shift. CX systems are evolving from systems that track interactions to systems that actively help grow customer relationships and lifetime value agentically. Here is what makes these agents powerful: • They operate directly inside Fusion CX workflows with full access to customer, sales, service, and operational context • They automate campaign planning, quote generation, territory analysis, service scheduling, and customer support • They continuously analyze customer signals to identify risks, expansion opportunities, and next best actions • They help organizations scale personalized customer engagement while improving productivity Examples of delivered value include: • Marketing agents that plan programs, analyze audiences, generate campaign content, and optimize targeting • Sales agents that generate quotes, monitor renewals, analyze territories, and guide seller priorities • Service agents that schedule work orders, prepare technicians, resolve customer issues faster, and enable intelligent self-service Most importantly, this platform enables something entirely new: verticalized CX through agent extensibility. Using Oracle AI Agent Studio, customers and partners can build and extend agents tailored to their industry, processes, and customer models. This allows organizations to create differentiated, intelligent CX experiences that reflect how their business actually operates. This is how CX becomes truly intelligent. This is how customer relationships are strengthened continuously. Bence Gazdag reposted thisBence Gazdag reposted thisLast week, Oracle Unity was named a leader Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Customer Data Platforms. We are extremely proud of the recognition. The dots have been discussed plenty over the past week... I don't have any hot takes to add. For me, the most interesting part of the MQ is found at the very end, where market trends and direction are recapped. As customers operationalize around AI, agents, and a fundamentally new approach to applications and CX execution... the CDPs' place and purpose in the larger data ecosystem is changing as well. Context is king -- and your CDP should be play a major role (if not THE role) in owning that enterprise customer context. AI has already accelerated expectations for how go-to-market teams should operate. We're quickly moving from CX apps that surface isolated moments of intelligence (a well-timed next step, a next best offer recommendation, a helpful interpretation) to systems of agentic processes that understand your goals, move processes forward and feel more like a team than a tool. This shift requires something fundamentally different from a traditional CDP. It requires a platform that can unify customer, account, and operational data — and make that context immediately usable by humans and AI. As a group, we've worked extremely hard in driving our product, market vision, and execution with our customers forward (as well as our own internal marketing, sales and service teams leveraging Unity at Oracle). A huge thank you to our customers, internal users and partners who have challenged us, shared candid feedback, and pushed us to build a product worthy of recognition. If you're figuring out what's next, reach out. I'm happy to make intros, chat and act as a sounding board. I'll make time. Also don't let a layoff define your narrative. The operators who know how to build pipelines, operate with rigor and discipline, close enterprise deals, and deliver at scale? That skillset is scarce and it's in demand. We are in one of the most consequential moments this industry has seen. AI-native companies are being built right now - fast - and they need people who've actually done the work, not just people who can talk about it. Some of the best career moves I've ever seen came out of moments exactly like this one.

Bence Gazdag reacted on thisBence Gazdag reacted on thisIt’s been a tough few weeks across Oracle, with many talented people impacted by recent changes. As part of these changes, my organization was asked to make some difficult trade-offs. In that context, I felt it was the right time to step aside and create space for what comes next, for the team and for myself. I’m grateful for the exceptional people I’ve worked with across teams, customers, and partners, and proud of what we built together. It’s a tightly knit community and I know those relationships will continue. Over the past few years, we have been pushing into a genuinely new frontier by building agentic marketing capabilities on top of a unified data platform and application suite. That kind of shift is never easy inside a large enterprise, but the progress and potential are very real, and I’m excited to see where the team takes it. As for me, I’m taking a short pause and starting to explore what’s next.

Bence Gazdag liked thisBence Gazdag liked thisToday I woke up to the news that I am no longer an employee of the company I worked for, for 25 yrs. Oracle is doing what other major high tech enterprise companies are doing, which is, replace people to make room for their AI investment. Reduction in force seems like a phrase that is straining to be politically correct, but in actuality is brutal. It strives to justify a cause devoid of emotion but reality speaks directly to the bank account. 30,000 people (or so it’s rumored) have to suddenly deal with questions like - how am I going to pay the mortgage now? Will I be able to go see a doctor again? How will I pay up the debt I built putting kids through college? And so many others. Along with this comes the impact it has on family. Wife, kids having to suddenly deal with the fact that the only earning member of the family is now no longer bringing home the bacon. So what now? Even as I’m sure every closed door opens 10 others, and that we will all land on our feet somehow, and in about 12 months look back at this moment and thank God for the salvation, it must be acknowledged that these moments have an earth shattering effect, even if it is briefly so. To all those impacted- Stay Strong! Mental strength is important at these times. Think positive. Know you will be in a better place soon. Take this time to reconnect with lost friends and family. Cherish this moment of freedom to focus on yourself and your family. Walk the dog, go to the gym, have coffee dates with people you haven’t seen in ages. This is what I intend to do. Coffee anybody?

Bence Gazdag reacted on thisBence Gazdag reacted on thisA major #NEW capability is coming to Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications: #Content_Intelligence. This is a huge addition to the system because AI agents are only as powerful as the knowledge they can reason over. #Content_Intelligence introduces a unified enterprise knowledge store for agentic applications, giving AI agents the full context needed to analyze, decide, and execute work across the business. It brings together enterprise knowledge from across the organization, including: • structured enterprise data • unstructured documents and policies • generated AI content • transactional application data • external knowledge sources like SharePoint, Box, Slack, Jira, and more Agents no longer operate on isolated prompts or disconnected documents. They operate with shared enterprise context. #Content_Intelligence also introduces hybrid information retrieval, combining: • semantic search for understanding intent • lexical search for precise entity matching • graph search for navigating relationships across enterprise knowledge This allows agents to retrieve more precise, grounded information, enabling better decisions and more reliable execution. Content Intelligence transforms AI Agent Studio from a tool for building agents into a knowledge-driven platform for agentic applications. Because the future of enterprise software is not just AI answering questions. It is AI agents executing work with full enterprise context. If you want to see it in action, join us at #AI_World_London on March 24th where we will be demonstrating #Content_Intelligence and the latest innovations in Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications.

Bence Gazdag reacted on thisBence Gazdag reacted on thisProud moment for our team: Oracle Fusion Unity has been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Customer Data Platforms—and it’s the first time we’ve reached this position. I’m incredibly grateful to the Unity product, engineering, and customer teams who have been building with rigor and urgency, and to our customers who keep pushing us to solve real problems at enterprise scale. What I’m happiest to see reflected is our strategy: unify customer and account data with back-office and commercial context so companies can move from “data in dashboards” to “data driving action” across revenue workflows. And as enterprises shift from experimentation to execution with AI, having governed, connected data is what makes AI decisioning—and the next generation of AI agents and agentic applications—actually work in production.

I think Salesforce acquiring Informatica for $8 billion is a great move to deliver their Agentic AI goal. - Buying Informatica helps Salesforce expand data management tools - Deal allows Salesforce to tighten control over how its data is managed and used - Salesforce races to embed generative AI deeper into its products https://lnkd.in/gCGwXFWd

Salesforce Acquires Informatica for $8B: A Strategic Move or a Step Backward? Salesforce’s recent $8 billion acquisition of Informatica has certainly made headlines. But is this move a visionary leap into the future or a nostalgic nod to the past? Imagine a horse trader acquiring a wagon maker to compete in the burgeoning automobile industry of the early 20th century. While both were titans in their time, the world was rapidly shifting beneath their feet. In today’s era of Generative and Agentic AI, agility and innovation are paramount. Nimble, AI-first startups are redefining the technological landscape, delivering unprecedented solutions at speed and scale. In contrast, legacy giants like Salesforce and Informatica, despite their storied histories, may find themselves encumbered by outdated infrastructures and slower innovation cycles. Generative AI is like the the Hulk: immensely powerful but requiring careful handling. To truly harness its potential, it must be paired with cutting-edge technologies that have evolved rapidly—technologies that differ vastly from those of the past three decades. Attempting to make one elephant dance is challenging enough; orchestrating a duet between two could be a comedic spectacle. Enterprises today seek the grace and agility of a trained ballerina, not the cumbersome movements of legacy behemoths. This acquisition prompts a critical question: Are we witnessing a strategic evolution or a nostalgic consolidation? The future will favor those who adapt swiftly, not those who cling to past glories. What do you think? https://lnkd.in/gPVXsnVY

The Informatica acquisition by Salesforce has been the talk of the town for the last 24 hours. We'll have to wait until the dust settles to see how it all turns out, but this could be excellent news for Apache Hop. 💰 As part of Salesforce, expect the Informatica licensing and pricing to change, and pricing changes tend to move up, things rarely become cheaper. 🔒 Additionally, as an Informatica customer, you'll probably be forced to migrate deeper into the Salesforce ecosystem. 🗝️ Apache Hop is (and as an ASF project, will always be) a free and open source alternative to Informatica PowerCenter. Let's talk if you want to learn more about what a migration from Informatica PowerCenter to Apache Hop would look like. Our Putki support formulas let you enjoy the power and freedom of the fully open source platform that Apache Hop is, with the professional support provided by the platform's co-founders and core contributors. https://lnkd.in/ec-J5G4p

I recently joined the Bloomberg Tech Disruptors podcast and sat down with Anurag Rana for a conversation on how AI is transforming customer and employee service. We talked about the future of Agentic Service and why it matters now more than ever: • Productivity at scale – Some Service Cloud customers are seeing up to 30% productivity gains by integrating AI agents into their workflows. • Blended workforce – The real power comes from humans + AI working together on one trusted platform, not stitched-together tools. • Customer success stories – From 1-800 Accountant resolving 70% of service inquiries with AI agents, to Smartsheet embedding AI directly into their product experience. • Growing momentum – Already, a good % of Service Cloud customers are piloting or using Agentforce to transform service. • Expanding into IT & HR service – We’re going beyond customer service with agent-first, Slack-first solutions to make it easier for employees to get the help they need, fast. This is just the beginning. As we head into Dreamforce and prepare to share more about our Agentic IT Service announcement, I couldn’t be more excited about the road ahead. Grateful to Bloomberg for the opportunity to share our vision — and to our customers for leading the way. #customerservice #servicecloud #salesforce

Today’s $8 billion announcement that Salesforce is acquiring Informatica - a hard sense of déjà vu. https://lnkd.in/g2ahf3tF 1️⃣Track Record Matters Salesforce has a history of big-ticket acquisitions that fail to deliver post-deal transformation. Tableau: Once the gold standard for intuitive BI, now slowed in feature development and confused in positioning. Slack: Innovation stalled while Microsoft Teams surged. Integration complaints persist. MuleSoft: Could’ve been the enterprise backbone for systems integration. Instead, under-leveraged while AWS and Azure built dominant native ecosystems. A 2023 EMA study found 80% of Salesforce-acquired products took 18+ months to resume roadmap acceleration, many never returned to pre-acquisition innovation velocity. 2️⃣Innovation Stall Is Real Acquired platforms often become appendages serving more as sales pitch props than evolving tools. New capabilities lag, documentation declines, and user communities fracture. 3️⃣Belated Realization: CRM is Data Salesforce has finally saying what many of us knew from the start: CRM is one of the most critical enterprise data domains. Without integrated, trusted, governed, context-rich data, you won’t have #AI. You have hallucinations wrapped in marketing fluff. 4️⃣Data Cloud: Late to the Party Let’s be real. Most orgs already invested in @Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, or Palantir Technologies. Now Salesforce wants data leaders to replatform, again. Onto a CRM-native cloud lacking proven maturity?? Customer data is important, but it's just one domain. Hard pass. 5️⃣Still No Cohesive Story Data Cloud. Tableau. MuleSoft. Einstein. Now Informatica. The message? Disjointed. The architecture? Duct tape. The journey? Your guess is as good as mine. 6️⃣The Agent Era Is Here and Salesforce Isn’t Leading AI-native ecosystems are here. Snowflake and Databricks are powering agent-native apps. Microsoft, Google, and Amazon embed intelligent agents into every surface. Informatica? It’s plumbing. Useful plumbing, yes. But plumbing doesn’t win hearts, wallets, or transformation. 7️⃣Layoffs, Then Leverage Thousands laid off, publicly and quietly. To spend billions while cutting people? It’s not just cold. It’s a strategy driven by optics over trust, and investor narratives over real value. 8️⃣Two Titans Trying to Be Cool Again Let’s say the quiet part loud: Informatica was already fighting for relevance. This isn’t just about capability. It’s two legacy giants trying to rebrand as innovators in a market that’s already moved on. The problem isn’t just Salesforce or Informatica. The problem is the market no longer waits. This acquisition isn’t surprising. It's been watercooler talk for well over a year now. It reveals a company still playing catch-up. A company still betting on brand stacking instead of experience innovation. #sfdc #datafam #acquisitions #leadership #data #layoffs
