I’m deeply grateful for the relationships built, the challenges that stretched me, and the opportunities to contribute across multiple leadership capacities within a global organization. I’m proud of the work I delivered and the impact made alongside colleagues who became collaborators and friends. During my tenure, I had the opportunity to operate at regional, national, and global levels, work with exceptional marketers and content creators, and gain invaluable perspective within a world-class CPG brand. This experience sharpened my leadership, expanded my creative and strategic range, and clarified what I’m built to do next. As this chapter concludes, I’ll also be closing my Los Angeles chapter and returning to the East Coast to be closer to family and get grounded for what’s ahead. Beginning 2/3 I’ll be open to new opportunities, including consulting, freelance, and project-based work. To my Atlanta and NYC communities, I’m looking forward to reconnecting! First time at SXSW + a great weekend to be in Austin! Had a blast spending the past few days with some of Brigade's clients, each with their own exciting contribution to the festival. - Emily Sundberg interviewed Jim Lanzone, CEO of Yahoo, for a press preview highlighting the company’s recent momentum, evolving mission, and the launch of its new AI search engine, Scout. - Casey Lewis moderated a featured panel titled “From Meme to Meaning: Making the Most of Accidental Virality,” alongside author of the Substack newsletter "Link In Bio" Rachel Karten, Nuuly's Executive Director of Marketing Kim Gallagher, and Senior Manager of Social at Graza Gabby Fowler. The conversation explored how internet culture is translating into more durable brand and business value. - “The Sun Never Sets,” directed by Joe Swanberg, also premiered during the festival. Karley Sciortino appears in the film, which follows a complicated love triangle set in Anchorage. Landed back in NYC with a clearer sense that some of the most interesting work right now is driven by a mix of media, online trends, and technology. Plus an understanding that the people shaping those conversations are often the ones closest to the audience.

Tubi making moves towards the creator economy. It will expand its content library to include over 5,000 episodes of content from digital-first creators like MrBeast, Alan’s Universe, and CelinaSpookyBoo. This is an interesting strategic push! These creators have been at it for over a decade now, and their content has become more polished, professional, and well produced during this time. What this means is - they have an archive of assets that they can sell and monetise to platforms such as Tubi - and Tubi has a demographic of customers that will watch and enjoy this content directly on their platform. #streamingmedia #youtube #tubi #digitalmedia #vod https://lnkd.in/eXc45YEw

Lots of thoughts on the Warner Brothers- Discovery acquisition. This feels like a give and take thing. There's anxiety from a storied streamer who hasn't had production rights in mind but also there's huge benefit potential to fans and our industry. On one hand, WBD has spent the last three years - deleting massive content libraries from consumption - canning completed projects for tax right offs - worked to patent features and technology that has only sat on shelves instead of benefitting the industry They have struggled for years now to provide value to their audience and the consumer. Netflix on the other hand is the leader in the streaming space where traditional studios have started to crumble. While I believe that this will be a net good for consumers, I can see the impact its going to have on film making culture with their short turn around for "success" metrics, stricter and perhaps creatively harmful methods of seasoning shows, and an unstoried giant breaking into a space that has had the same 5 players for 80 years... But as we've seen with Amazon's acquisition of MGM, they could do something potentially incredible with the content library this affords them and service the industry and fans alike. Look no further than the productions of Rings of Power and the upcoming Stargate series coming from Amazon to see what these digital giants can do while still providing jobs to our industry and giving fans what they want. I'm cautiously optimistic, but as someone who cut my teeth on the digital side of our giant industry, this is ground breaking that shows digital video is here to play the long game with production. This isn't dvd's and books in the mail anymore

Shouldn't the outcome measurement system work *across* multiple media platforms? It's a buy-side task to de-duplicate and evaluate what is generating outcomes.
