NBCUniversal Local’s Telemundo Responde and NBC Responds consumer investigative units surpassed a major milestone: $100 million recovered for community members since the program’s 2014 inception Now operating across 33 NBC- and Telemundo-owned stations in 23 U.S. markets and Puerto Rico, the consumer units – in coordination with NBCU Local’s Consumer Investigative Center (CIC) – provide critical support and advocacy for community members facing a range of consumer-related issues. Today, NBCUniversal announced new features coming this spring and summer to the Peacock mobile app which create more dynamic and immersive ways for audiences to engage with their favorite shows and movies. New features include: • Your Bravoverse, a first-of-its-kind AI-powered vertical video experience guided by a video avatar of Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen. • Live Vertical Video, which uses AI-powered technology to stream live games natively in a 9:16 vertical format and will launch in beta for NBA games within the Courtside Live feature. • New Mini-Games, including two new titles developed through NBCU’s collaboration with Wolf Games and a new Jeopardy! mini-game. “The best place for NBCUniversal’s fandoms to experience their favorite shows and movies is on our platforms, with Peacock serving as an immersive, premium destination that gives audiences new ways to connect and engage with our content, like Your Bravoverse.
