We recently had the pleasure of welcoming students from Lawrence Academy and Boston University to our station for two inspiring visits focused on career exploration, growth, and conversations about the ever‑changing media landscape. A group of high school student-athletes from Lawrence Academy enjoyed a panel discussion with leaders from NBC Sports Boston, focused on careers in sports and media. The discussion offered meaningful insights, personal career stories, and perspective into the many paths available within the industry. We also hosted aspiring journalists and media professionals from Boston University, who met with our Leadership Team for an engaging discussion filled with thoughtful questions and advice drawn from years of experience in journalism and media. Both visits included tours of our facilities, offering students a behind‑the‑scenes look at how our station operates each day. It has been an incredibly rewarding few months with The Boston Stations of NBC & Telemundo programming department. During my time, I have focused primarily on our lifestyle show, ‘The HUB Today,’ where I’ve had the opportunity to write and produce segments, field produce, and create multiple NAT-sound packages. Through this experience, I’ve interviewed community leaders such as Imari K. Paris Jeffries, state officials including Maura Healey, and reality television personalities like Bryan Arenales. I’m especially grateful to The HUB Today team for their continued support and encouragement.
