🎉 We’ve won two Educators Pick Best of STEM Awards for 2026! We’re excited to see our Middle School curriculum recognized as a Trailblazer. Developed with support from MathWorks, these six units give middle school students the chance to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills at an age when they’re forming their identities around STEM. We’re also thrilled to be recognized for Best Hands-On STEM for Enrichment. YES Enrichment units are designed to make meaningful, hands-on engineering work in flexible learning environments. We���re excited to share that the William and Charlotte Bloomberg Public Science Common will open to the public on October 10, 2026! This new convening space will feature cutting-edge technology and floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the Charles River, with 270-degree views of the Boston skyline. The Bloomberg Public Science Common will expand access to science by connecting the public with leading scientists and communicators through conferences, symposia, and more. “We believe the future of science is participatory,” said Tim Ritchie, Gwill York President, Museum of Science. “Science should belong to everyone. The William and Charlotte Bloomberg Public Science Common will be the world’s stage for science: a place where scientists, creators, artists, and the public will create experiences that inspire everyone with hope for a better future. Our mission is to inspire a lifelong love of science in everyone.” The Bloomberg Public Science Common is made possible through a gift from Medford native Michael R.
