Last night in Charlotte at The Palm Restaurant, we hosted and sponsored an HR/TA Leadership & Connection Dinner on AI in the Workplace, focused on what it really means for people, skills, and leadership today. Led by Tamla Oates-Forney, the conversation stayed grounded in real adoption and real challenges, with honest perspectives from leaders at different stages of their #AIjourney. One simple takeaway that stuck: “phone a friend.” Find at least one person in the room to stay connected with, share ideas, and not go it alone. We appreciated everyone who joined and contributed. It was especially interesting to hear the range of perspectives, from those fully embracing #AI to those still working through the uncertainty. Thank you to our MMI hosts as well Marisa Schwartz Rogers Wes Wetmore Avery Kirby and Michael Fromowitz "The Savvy Staffer” and everyone who attended to make it such a special evening: Debbie Page, Onna O'Meara, MBA, SHRM-SCP, Jean C., Ty McMillan, Jennifer Snellgrove, SHRM-CP, PHR, Ciara M., Leona Aguon, Monte C Garrett, PHR, Tony Washington, Ed.D., Erania Brackett, Cheryl Stokes, Dr. Charryse Johnson, LCMHC,NCC, Stephanie Broaders, Dr. Stephanie M. Last night, we hosted a private dinner at Scarpetta in NYC bringing together leaders for a conversation on Leading Community Care: Strategy, Staffing and Sustainability in #BehavioralHealth. But the highlight of the night? Going around the table and hearing everyone’s interesting facts and hidden talents. It made an already strong and impressive group even more memorable. Great food, great people, and real connection. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to Gene Holtzman, Joanne Russo, Andrea Carrasco, Ian Kuster, and Alex Cohen Smith for hosting a thoughtful and engaging evening.

Post workshop with Meg Fisher, we moved upstairs to the networking event hosted by Women Applying AI, Mitchell Martin Inc., and LinkedIn’s Women in Recruitment North America. The panel, “Talent in Turbulence: Recruiting, Retaining & Reskilling in the AI Era,” brought together some incredible perspectives. Thank you to Pam Boiros for moderating, and to Meg Fisher, Tucker Johns, and our own Lindsay Brand (GO LINDSAY!! You made us proud!) for sharing their insights. MMI was well represented with Tarah Healy, Rarine G., Lindsay Brand, Anya Dubey, and Rich Cigna in attendance. We met so many interesting people across industries, and it was great to see how many traveled in to be part of the conversation. From those just getting started to those deep in the work, the energy in the room was strong. Looking forward to continuing to build with Women Applying AI and LinkedIn. Thanks again to Women Applying AI team members: Pam Boiros, Christyl Lucille Murray, Meg Fisher, Cheyenne W., Halah Mefleh, Lynda Knoll Cotter Tracey H. Nicole Pezzola Leyden & Melissa Daley and LinkedIn members: Rowan Watson, Julia Hyzdu , Tucker Johns, Anna Wright and Courtney Levin and our own Gene Holtzman, Tarah Healy for organizing.

Such an inspiring group of women, with conversations that challenged perspectives, sparked new ideas, and left a lasting impact! We had the privilege to sponsor and have Lindsay Brand, Stacy Trommelen and Tarah Healy attend the 2026 i.WILL (Inspiring Women Igniting Leadership and Learning) Summit and it truly delivered. The room was filled with energy, real conversations, and a strong sense of momentum around women supporting women, leadership, and growth. From founder pitches to panels and everything in between, it was a powerful reminder of what can happen when the right people come together with purpose. We were especially proud to have Lindsay Brand represent Mitchell Martin Inc. as a panelist, sharing her perspective alongside such an impressive group. Thank you to the i.WILL team, led by . Andrea Markstrom, board members: Chris Van Horrick, Rachael Rahm, MBA, MSN, RN, Connie Mui-Reilly Janice Rahm, • Robert Field, JapNeet K., Rajita N. and Kaarthick Subramanian and everyone who made the day what it was!
