Rooted in generations. Circa early 1950s, these photo capture moments in our early history with founder Carl E. Johnson, along with James Vee “Jimmy” Lofton. His legacy is one that continues to shape who we are today. Jimmy Lofton’s son, James Vee Lofton, Sr., carried that legacy forward at Johnson Engineering. Today, his grandson, James "Vee" Lofton, Jr., serves as our Director of Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI), continuing a remarkable family tradition within our company. From past to present, our story isn’t just about projects, it’s about people, families, and generations of dedication. #WayBackWednesday #WBW #JohnsonEngineering #OurLegacy #GenerationsStrong

Johnson Engineering employees once again showed their generosity by donating Christmas gifts, filled stockings, and goodie bags to Our Mother's Home of Southwest Florida this year. This life-changing organization provides young mothers, ages 11-21, in foster care and human trafficking systems, a safe, nurturing, and supporting environment to stay with their babies, learn life skills, and finish their education. We wish everyone a wonderful & safe New Year!

This past Saturday, more than 65 Johnson Engineering, LLC. An Apex Company and Weiler Engineering Corporation (WEC) employees, family, and friends volunteered for our 20th annual Coastal Clean Up at Lovers Key/Cark E. Johnson State Park. This year’s efforts focused on building rope fences, removing exotic plants, trail trimming, trash pickup, and overall continued hurricane recovery projects. In one morning, our team knocked out projects that typically would have taken the Friends of Lovers Key (FOLKS) and park staff months to complete. We’re proud to continue the legacy of our founder, Carl E. Johnson, whose work in the 1960s helped preserve this natural gem for future generations. #loverskeystatepark #givebacktothecommunity #fortmyersbeach #esteroflorida #CarlEJohnson #johnsonengineering #weilerengineering #apexcompaniesllc

We are proud to celebrate the soft reopening of the Punta Rassa Boat Ramp, closed since Hurricane Ian. Johnson Engineering served as the prime design consultant for this project with Tyler Sharpe, PE as the civil engineer of record and Chris Barrett, EI as the Project Manager. Tyler and Chris attended the ribbon-cutting, marking an exciting milestone on the path to rebuilding our community following the storm. We look forward to completing this project in the coming months and providing Lee County residents and visitors with one of the best boat ramp facilities in southwest Florida. #puntarassa #johnsonengineering #civilengineering #leecountyfl
