The Devil Arcana belonging to Ichiko Ohya is one of the unlockable Confidants, as well as being a romanceable character option in Persona 5 Royal.

Ichiko Ohya Confidant Overview

First appearing before Ichiryusai Madarame's residency for investigation, Ohya's Confidant can be unlocked by visiting her at Crossroads in Shinjuku starting on June 23rd after hearing about her from Ryuji.

After striking a deal with the devil, she's available during any evening of the week, including rainy days. Spending time with Ohya also increases your Charm stat.

Devil Arcana Skills

All of Ohya's Confidant abilities decrease the security level within Palaces in progressive effectiveness.

Those abilities are extremely helpful in avoiding surprise attacks from the enemies found within while being discovered, or being forced to retreat from the Palace when the security level reaches 100%.

Ranking Up

In order to progress the Devil Arcana, you must complete the request "Fighting For Truth in Journalism" from Ohya.

For this request, you must venture into Mementos to eliminate a Lesser Shadow in the Path of Kaitul: Area 9. Once the shadow is defeated, you will be able to continue ranking up Ohya's Confidant.

The Lesser Shadow is weak to Wind, so I recommend bringing along Morgana to make quick work of it.

You gain an additional bonus of +3 charm for your time spent with Ohya.

Ohya's romance requires that you have chosen at least one of the following dialogue options before reaching this point in her Confidant's rank.

• During Rank 7, you've chosen "You're charming as you are."
• During Rank 8, you've chosen "I'll go with you"
• During Rank 9, in regular conversation before the romance prompt, you've chosen "I can't leave you."

If at least one of the above choices has been selected previously, choose "I took it seriously" and "I love you, Ichiko" simultaneously during Rank 9 to lock in your romantic relationship with Ohya.

If these dialogue options aren't selected, your relationship will remain platonic.

Additionally, you can get up to +3 Social Link points for accepting Ohya's requests to hang out at Seaside Park or Ginza while building your relationship, whether you choose to stay friends or follow the romance in the air.

Late into the game, you can receive an invitation to Asakusa Festival to spend time simultaneously with both Haru (the Empress Arcana) and Ohya for an extra opportunity to boost your social link with them.

At the end of her social link, Ohya realizes that you're a member of the Phantom Thieves due to the convenience of the situation, but promises to keep it a secret due to your assistance.

Ohya's farewell gift to you on the last calendar day of the game after maxing out her Confidant is her Top Secret Memo, which contains all of her notes gathered by you during your relationship with her.

It allows you to access the Legendary Scoop ability from the very start after initiating her social link in New Game+.

If you pursue a romantic relationship with Ohya, she will give you a Camera on Christmas, allowing you to earn more points when using a Persona of the Devil Arcana after meeting Ohya in New Game+.
