Inspired stealth section.

Kissy having a husband is my personal 9/11

Great start! Found the movement very fun and I'm quite excited for more, great art and visiuals all around. Also Tone avsolutley killed it on the OST!!

This was super fun! Played through it with my husband just like we did with your other games, we loved it!! We can't wait for more!

The 20th century will never, ever die!!!!

This and AotK are probably some of my favorite writing in games lately: so funny and sincere!!

Really enjoyed the jump to (some) 3D and the platforming gameplay.

(+2)

This is awesome, very fun and atmospheric!  I love the textures.

As someone that loved Anthology of The Killer, this is up there with Deltarune Chapter 5 as legit one of my favorite things I've played this entire year.

I always suspected you were going follow in the footsteps of your Killer series with a similar style game next but, I never would have guessed you would mix that with a 3D platformer, one that also shockingly has really fun movement! I was half expecting this to control clunky yet, somehow you have managed to nail one of the most important aspects of a platformer, movement, which is extra impressive to me because I don't think you have made anything like this previously?

I can't wait to see future installments of this!

As a sidenote, stuff like this really makes want to get into game development myself.

I can't play the game. When I try to open it, a window pops up for a second, then disappears. I wanna play it so much. Are there any suggestions to make it work?

Evermore a thecatamites production, but a gameplay for a new century.

(+3)

I fear this might be peak. Had a lot of fun playing this game, thecatamites' games always brings me a weird sense of nostalgia, Anthology of the Killer gave me urban nostalgia, International Obsession is giving me sort of TV / Internet nostalgia.

Nostalgia aside (or not) this game is great, fun, I had a lot of fun both reading the dialogue, staring at the characters and mindfully jumping around like a creature. Great game, hope to see more.

(+3)

it's nostalgia for the future that never arrived!

(+2)

Every polygon oozes pure swag honestly... I have always thought that the best part of a platformer is when you are just sort of running around jumping because it feels good to land jumping maneuvers in exciting locations, and this makes me feel really justified in thinking that way, because the jumping locations in this? Oh buddy, you'd better believe there are locations where you can jump, and shapes like you wouldn't believe... In color, no less!

amazing, amazing, there is hope for us still.......

Loved it! Like leaping through a comic book free from all boundaries. Excited to see where it goes!

A quality of life suggestion for your controller users: the ability to invert the y-axis!

Thank you for the game!

I'm not sure if there's something I'm missing but if I try to open the game on my Mac I just get a "cannot be opened" error?

Here's the exact error if I try run through terminal.

The application cannot be opened for an unexpected reason, error=Error Domain=RBSRequestErrorDomain Code=5 "Launch failed." UserInfo={NSLocalizedFailureReason=Launch failed., NSUnderlyingError=0x7ff0206f0 {Error Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=111 "Unknown error: 111" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=Launchd job spawn failed}}}

I had the same issue on Sequoia. Had to update to Tahoe to get it to work.

Just finished it, very hyped to see all further games in this series, I love Kissy!

oops, I got stuck in some level geometry. Found the restart option while checking the comments, but perhaps it should be explained more in the tutorial. Incredible experience so far however!

(+1)

I've been obsessed with AOTK recently (haven't played through the final chapter yet *gulp*) so seeing this made me start running across the walls like the titular "Son Of The Mask!" (pictured below). I was delighted by this game and am very excited to see more! :D

tommy tone KNOWS how to hit the double jump, that last song of his was a real banger!

(+2)

yooo a new game by thecatamites???!?!? we miss u

(+5)

a good game is one that i cannot explain to anybody no matter how hard i try

(+2)

alternatively, everything i can say about it - i consider a spoiler so i won't.

(+6)

there do seem to be a lot of former war criminals at this sexual wellness clinic

(+1)

fascinating… perhaps, one day, humanity may evolve the ability to “Moon Jump”… extraterrestrial adventures await!

oh god it's so good..... it's so much fun..... the world is my jungle gym.....spy.. comic book.. platformer.. it's so peak..... i am so hyped for the rest...

What year is it again? Eh, who cares.

(+1)

brilliant stuff. You Can Just Do Things here at the end of the rules-based international order

It's really good tho I did have the same problem other people of being stunlocked by a ball gun in fantasy identification.

(+3)

a tale as old as time

(1 edit) (+1)

Jumped to one of the shooting targets in the fantasy identifications or something level and got stuck on it...

I am enjoying the game so far but I am too lazy to restart everything lol

Edit: tried to post screenshot but I get an error saying "post is expected to be 1 and [A LOT] of characters"

(+1)

the exact same thing happened to me. the "retry" option in the pause menu isn't perfectly clear on this but it will reset the map instead of the entire game. there is also a level select on the main menu

You can use the level select to get back to very near to where you were before.

(1 edit)

Thank you for allowing me to live out my billy-goat fantasies of scaling arbitrarily large geometric shapes, in the name of espionage.

Bugs:

  1. During play, the camera isn’t locked when the menu is up.
  2. During cutscenes, images appear to be stretched. They look normal though when the menu is brought up.
  3. Menu is obscured by text bubbles in cutscenes.

Running Windows 11 Home at 1920x1080 resolution, with an integrated graphics driver (“Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620”).

Suggestions:

  1. Mouse support for the menu buttons. I thought the start-menu buttons were broken at first when mouse clicks didn’t react to it.
  2. Option to reverse the up/down camera movement. Usually not a problem in most games I’ve played but I keep mixing up the two in this game for some reason.
  3. An options menu :)

An interesting view into a world that seems post-structural leaving some looking backwards.  I however look forward to the other entries in the series!

oh my god that was amazing!!!!!!

NO WAY new thecatamites game???

(+2)

A vision of the future, brimming with intrigue.  I eagerly await Part 2...

(+2)

I am interested in these pieces of comical comic book-like software of coolness and words, thank you thecatamites and co.
