Tired of playing yuppie coastal Fallouts for yuppie coastal people to pretend that their formerly iconic landmarks would equate to a single ounce of realpolitik after the bombs dropped. So me the Middle American powers that have risen higher than the likes of California can make solely because they weren't bombed to shit like Cali was.

All focusing on Cali while rendering the Heartland into interchangeable stretches of nothing does is flatter the egos of the coastal yuppies by pretending you people are better equipped to rebuild civilization than the people who actually build and grow things. 😂

I'm frankly getting tired of seeing coast cities in Fallout. The parts of America that Fallout take place in are already overexposed in media to begin with, and too many people involved in the writing process think that symbolic power still holds weight in a world America hasn't existed for 200 years but food scarcity still has.

My entire state has zero canon related to it in the Fallout world. You would think this same "flyover" nature would mean that the Heartland is in a better shape than the yuppie coast zones, but no, places like Denver have to be reduced to "Dog Town" so that people in Boston and California can continue LARPing that they would be the main characters of the apocalypse, not the people in Middle America who have literally been preparing for this their entire lives. 😂
