The so-called "backdoor pilot" failed on several levels. First, it did ZERO justice to the many incredible Bosch characters - who deserved a proper send-off. Also, the new Ballard character was denied a proper intro....equally insulting. Finally, the very meager use of Crate and Barrel in the "finale" was a half-assed attempt to provide them with a decent exit and appease the audience desire to see more of them. As a very devoted fan of the shows and Connelly's books, you let everybody down 😔
