8 Most Overrated Literary Classics (& The Underrated Books To Read Instead)

Pride and Prejudice is not great literature because of the theme. Its great because of the beautiful prose. The same reason Lolita is great literature. The story is hideous, but Nabokov's use of the English language is magical.

I'll read your suggestions, but doubt I will re-read them as many times as I have re-read these you consider overrated.
