The Blood of Dawnwalker has an interesting core, but it throws too many obstacles in your way before you can get to it. Rebel Wolves builds a rich universe with many stories worth discovering, but its clunky mechanics and various issues with its main systems are hard to ignore.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is another win for Capcom. It's a game with stellar combat that stumbles when it comes to its open-world design and side content. Luckily, when it's time to cross swords, this game is incredibly fun

Set during the darkest years of the Clone Wars, Star Wars Zero Company features a compelling story that will hook you as long as you're a Star Wars fan. Its charismatic characters and gameplay with multiple layers of complexity clash with overly simplistic exploration and a streamlined, mechanical mission system that doesn't measure up to the rest of the game. With plenty of customization options, multiple progression trees, and great ideas in combat, it's on the battle grid where Star Wars Zero Company showcases Bit Reactor's strong work and the influence of some of its members' experience on titles like X-COM.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy leans more heavily into action in a series known for its stealth. It's the change we didn't know we needed. It offers a charming world, clever puzzles, fluid combat, and a story packed with mystery, tragedy, and even horror.

Man of Honor works well as a small expansion to the story of Mafia: The Old Country. However, while it retains the essence of the base game and offers a great atmosphere, it falls short in terms of depth.

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 is merely adequate as a compilation, but a must-have for Metal Gear Solid fans because of its selection. Both Peace Walker and the long-awaited Guns of the Patriots remain wonderful experiences even today.

8 / 10.0 - Mortal Shell II

Mortal Shell 2 represents a huge leap forward in terms of both quality and scope compared to the original game. It is an incredibly ambitious 'souls-like' game that delivers an exquisite experience in almost every respect

The Sinking City 2 is survival horror by the book. Puzzles, constant tension and a good dose of Lovecraftian cosmic horror. A sequel that builds on what worked in the original game and refines it with a much more focused approach.

8 / 10.0 - Duskfade
Aug 13, 2026

Duskfade manages to bring back a formula that, fortunately, seems unlikely ever to go out of fashion. Action, platforming and endearing characters. A winning combination

Arc System Works has struck a good balance between accessibility, spectacular visuals, and challenging gameplay. The 4 vs. 4 battles sounded risky, but they're handled without much difficulty. Visually, it's a real eye-catcher, with some more or less successful "Japanese-style" redesigns.

Beast of Reincarnation nails the combat but falls slightly short in the other pillars of its core gameplay. Nothing is outright bad, but it's that small difference-that final push-that keeps it from aspiring to be a new benchmark in the action genre.

All the elements that made Bungie's original Halo: Combat Evolved so incredible return, enhanced and improved by Halo Studios in Halo: Campaign Evolved. The Master Chief returns in his first adventure with improved controls, stunning visuals, new voice lines dubbed and localized into Spanish, and a better-told story. Halo looks better than ever in a remake that enhances the gameplay and lets you customize the experience down to the last detail. The ability to play solo or in online and local co-op with up to three friends rounds out a title that pays a fitting tribute to the classic and is better in every way.

8 / 10.0 - Splatoon Raiders
Jul 21, 2026

Ultimately, it's much more than just a tutorial that's been expanded. Splatoon Raiders is a fully-fledged game in its own right and will appeal to fans of the main series as well as those who were clamouring for more single-player content, although we can also explore it with others if we wish.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag: Resynced plays it safe-and it's a good thing. The changes it introduces are necessary, and the visual overhaul will leave fans speechless, especially if they decide to take the plunge underwater. A few repetitive side activities and tedious boss fights take some of the shine off the game, but they don't manage to overshadow the quality of this remake.

Echoes of Aincrad isn't a bad game for the franchise; in fact, it has memorable moments that really stand out from the other entries. However, the ambition and fantasy it initially promised are too far removed from the actual gameplay experience, with issues related to pacing, quality of life, and content reuse that overshadow its many strengths.
