Advanced Classes are specializations of a Class in Lost Ark. Classes offer a wide range of "Advanced Classes" (Subclasses), which are specialized versions of the original Class, concentrating on different aspects of it. This offers players a more focused version of each Class. Players can opt for different branching paths gaining unique Skills for their Advanced Class. So a Warrior, for example, will have to opt to become a Berserker, Paladin or Gunlancer.
Different Advanced Classes
When selecting a Class, you can narrow down your decision by determining if you prefer to play as a melee or ranged-focused character. Of the five base Classes in Lost Ark, only the Gunner and Mage focus on ranged combat whereas the rest are melee-based. The exceptions to this are the Soulfist and Shadowhunter Advanced Classes, which have a mix of ranged and melee combat.
How To Select an Advanced Class
Each of these Classes has their own Advanced Classes that you can further specialize in when you reach Level 10. What you have to remember is once you’ve chosen the Advanced Class for your character, you won’t be able to undo it. There’s no way to switch to a different Class in Lost Ark should you wish to change your mind at any point in time. This is also part of the reason why alternate characters exist so you can experience the other Advanced Classes as well.

Advanced Classes Tripod System
For Advanced Classes, there’s a Tripod System that lets you customize the characteristics and attributes of a single Skill in three different ways to significantly alter your playstyle. For instance, if you’re a Berserker of the Warrior Class, and you wish to enhance the Hell Blade Skill, you can do so by selecting Training Result, Melt, and Ground Flip. As a result, you not only lengthen the skill’s range of impact, but you also considerably boost the overall damage you inflict while knocking back enemies away from you. Furthermore, respeccing won’t cost you extra skill points so you’re free to do it whenever you want

The Warrior Class is the strongest class when it comes to pure and direct melee combat. Can wearing heavy armor and play as a tank while dealing massive melee damage. Warriors have 3 Advanced Classes, which are the Berserker, Paladin and Gunlancer.
Berserkers are always powerful warriors, with their high-damage greatsword attacks and potent defense, but when they enter their burst mode, they're all but unstoppable. In this heightened state, they gain increased attack and movement speed and unlock a special skill that delivers a world of hurt to their enemies.

As the first line of defense, gunlancers take the brunt of enemy attacks with their defensive stance and battlefield shield to keep the rest of their party safe. While their gun lance is a formidable weapon, their true value derives from their ability to protect allies and absorb damage like a sponge.
