Where Winds Meet includes a set of skills that you can pick up called Mystic Skills. These can give you a range of abilities, from utility options like Celestial Seize to combat options like Tai Chi. While they aren't mandatory to pick up, they definitely make the game easier if you take the time to grab them and learn when they're most useful to equip.
For most Mystic Skills, there isn't a marker or indicator that tells you where to go get the skill, and you'll generally pick them up from side quests, skill theft, or even by stealing scrolls from NPCs. Golden Body is a Mystic Skill that you can't get until the second half of the main story that's currently available, but you'll want to make sure you pick up Celestial Seize first for the easiest way to get Golden Body.
Celestial Seize and Kaifeng
Before you even think about Golden Body, you need to get Celestial Seize. Celestial Seize is another Mystic Skill, but you'll pick it up shortly after you enter Heaven's Pier. You'll find Qiu Yuehai on the side of the main path you're using for the main quest. Speak with him, and he'll tell you about Hu Wei cheating at games of drinking by using Nullifying Pills that are kept in a bottle on the crate behind him. You want to expose this injustice, and Qiu Yuehai teaches you to use Celestial Seize to grab the pills, then challenge Hu Wei. After you expose Hu Wei, the villagers chase him off. Talk to Qiu Yuehai again to gain Celestial Seize for permanent use.
Next, you need to get to Kaifeng, which is the second region you unlock. You have to complete the main quest For Whom Does He Return and reach at least Level 32 before you can reach Kaifeng. Once these requirements are met, you get the next main quest that requires you to speak with the boatman in Harvestfall Village, and he takes you to Kaifeng.
Getting Golden Body
When you're in Kaifeng, you need to make your way to Kaifeng City, which you can do by following the first main path you end up on after arriving via boat. Go through the city's entrance, then turn to the right and run up the wall to the Wayfarer. He'll give you the city map and a tourist map, which places markers for all the points of interest in the city on your map. Use this to find the Boundary Stone for the Grand Imperial Temple and make your way over to it.
Pick up the teleport by interacting with the Boundary Stone, then head inside the temple and look for a garden section, which is in the northeast corner of the temple's area. There, you should see an NPC named Shi Yi. Walk behind him, then use Celestial Seize to find the scroll for the Golden Body on him. You should have a high success rate for taking it, making it easy to steal. Once you confirm that this is the item you want and take it with Celestial Seize, you automatically learn it.
With Golden Body, you're able to give yourself a shield to reduce damage, grant you Fortitude, and give you Qi Recovery while it's active. This is a great Mystic Skill to have, especially when it feels like you don't get a lot of defensive options among them. Plus, when you're challenging bosses, it's not always enough to have your health potions and rely purely on dodges and parries. Golden Body gives you another line of defense for tough fights, and you can upgrade Mystic Skills to improve the abilities they grant you in Where Winds Meet.
