How to acquire Duck Eggs

Ducksare unlocked when you upgrade a Coop to a Big Coop. You can then purchase them from Marnieat the Ranch.

With sufficient happiness, a mature Duckwill produce a Duck Egg every 2 days.

You can also purchase them from the following:

  • The Traveling Cart for 285-1,000g.
  • Pierre at the Feast of the Winter Star for 2,500g.

How to use Duck Eggs

Duck Eggs can be used in a number of ways, primarily to produce Duck Mayonnaise by using them in a Mayonnaise Machine. This will take 3 hours to process.

Note: Duck Eggs are interchangable with other types of egg in the above recipes.

Duck Eggs can be used to fulfill various requests you will receive as you progress:

  • The Raccoon may request 5x Eggs as part of their third request, or from their sixth request onwards.
  • Gus will request 24x Eggs as part of his Special Order: Gus' Famous Omelet.

Duck Eggs can also be used to create the Green Jacket Shirt in the sewing machine or as a white dye at Emily and Haley's house.

Special orders become available when a special orders board is installed in front of the Mayor's Manor. This can happen any time beginning Fall 2, Year 1. This board typically has large requests that would not be found on the normal help wanted board outside the shop.

Guswill put a request on this board for 20x any combination of the following over the next 14 days:

These items must be harvested whilst the quest is active, and placed in Gus'Fridge at the Stardrop Saloon.

Any of the above you may already have will not count towards the completion of this quest.

As a reward, you receive 3,000g, and a Mini-Fridge.
