The Ash of War: Piercing Throw is an Ash of War introduced in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

This Ash of War grants an armament the Keen affinity and the following skill:

"Piercing Throw: Throw armament with a powerful spin, causing it to bore through foes. When using this skill, the armament can be thrown further than normal and also pierce through enemies."

Usable on throwing blades.

Ash Of War: Piercing Throw Effects

The Ash of War: Piercing Throw grants your Throwing Blades the Piercing Throw Skill, as well as Keen affinity. The Piercing Throw Skill lets you throw a knife at a great speed, dealing damage and penetrating through the enemies in a straight line. It's important to know that enemies that block this skill won't receive damage, but the knife will still go through the enemy and can damage others behind it.

The Piercing Throw skill is not chargeable, so you can't change its damage or its range. It also deals 3 Stance Damage per throw.

How To Get The Ash Of War: Piercing Throw

The Piercing Throw Ash of War is in a Scarab next to the Ruined Forge Of Starfall Past. You can easily access this zone after defeating Rellana Twin Moon Knight.

From the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace, turn to the south and start traveling in a straight line until you start seeing some giant columns embedded in the ground. The Scarab you are looking for is between two columns that are very close to each other; kill it, and the Ash of War will be yours.
