ICEYE is now delivering sovereign SAR missions for multiple nations in parallel. The natural next step in space-based ISR is clear: connect sovereign fleets without compromising sovereignty. Together with trusted partners, ICEYE is developing a practical framework that lets countries: → Share common building blocks → Operate efficiently across different chains of command → Coordinate ISR efforts across sovereign and federated operations The strength of the approach lies in its simplicity and non-intrusive design. Each nation retains full authority over how its satellites are operated and how its assets are used, while choosing which satellite capacity to make visible to participating partners. This framework enables national and joint planners to collaborate and synchronize more effectively, ensuring the best possible use of available capacity within any given area of interest. ICEYE has successfully launched and deployed six new 25 cm resolution SAR satellites into orbit. Each spacecraft has established communication. The new satellites will serve ICEYE's commercial constellation alongside dedicated national missions, including ICEYE US, the Polish Armed Forces' MikroSAR program, and CTI Aeroespacial, representing Força Aérea Portuguesa | Portuguese Air Force, CEiiA // Centre of Engineering and Product Development, and GEOSAT in the Atlantic Constellation initiative. With this deployment, ICEYE continues to increase sovereign imaging capacity and resilience for governments that require rapid, reliable, and high-fidelity persistent awareness, day or night and through any weather. Rafal Modrzewski, CEO of ICEYE, said: "ICEYE protects sovereign nations from space. The era of relying on a single, expensive satellite for national security is ending. Governments now understand that resilient constellations of many satellites are what give them real intelligence advantage, with answers in minutes instead of days. That is the shift from strategic to tactical timelines, and it changes everything about how nations defend themselves. Every satellite we launch brings our customers closer to that reality, and we are building the industrial capacity to keep pace with the demand." Read more: https://hubs.li/Q048YrsD0 Video: SpaceX

We had the honor of welcoming H.E. Mr. Manuel Montobbio de Balanzó, Ambassador of Spain to Finland, to ICEYE headquarters in Espoo last week. The visit highlighted the growing importance of European cooperation in strengthening sovereign space capabilities. Together with CEO of ICEYE Spain Gonzalo García-Muñoz, VP Missions Spain Jordi Laguarda, Marketing Director Natalia Gómez, and SVP Global Manufacturing Organisation Dionisio Díaz González, we shared how ICEYE is contributing to Europe’s resilience through the world’s largest SAR satellite constellation, enabling reliable, high-resolution Earth observation in any conditions, day or night. An important focus of the discussion was the growing role of ICEYE Spain, where we are expanding R&D and manufacturing capabilities while strengthening collaboration with local partners, institutions, and the broader European space ecosystem. From defense and intelligence to disaster response, it was a valuable opportunity to exchange views on how space-based infrastructure can support national resilience and international cooperation.

Historic flooding has struck Hawaiʻi over the last two weeks, including over 20 inches of rain falling from last Friday into Saturday alone over Oʻahu. The storm triggered large-scale evacuations, dam safety concerns, and more than 200 rescues, making it one of the most severe events in decades. The disaster was intensified by the already saturated ground contributing to fast-rising waters, which further damaged critical infrastructure including roads, hospitals, and water systems. Early loss estimates peg the 2-week, state-wide disaster at over $1B. The ICEYE Flood Insights video below highlights both flood extent and depth in Hawaii over that timeframe, providing near real-time situational awareness when visibility is limited. Powered by ICEYE’s SAR satellite constellation, these insights cut through clouds and darkness to deliver consistent, reliable intelligence during rapidly evolving flood events. Hurricane Melissa was a uniquely challenging disaster response event for Jamaica. Over the course of a few days, the storm brought more than 500 mm of rainfall, Category 5 winds, widespread flooding, and severe structural damage across the island. Persistent cloud cover also limited traditional aerial assessments while critical infrastructure damage rendered on-ground assessments nearly impossible, both at the exact moment rapid visibility was needed most. ICEYE, however, was able to capture imagery through the cloud cover and at all hours, day or night. The result was the creation of hazard and damage data in near real-time, enabling a shared operating picture that helped responders prioritize resources, identify isolated communities, and support faster, evidence-based decisions when time mattered most.
