Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes. Wikipedians try to follow a strict policy of never biting new users. If you are unsure of how to do something, you are welcome to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator. One last bit of advise, please sign any dicussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into you signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD!--Scaife (Talk)

Jesus and Marxist Views
[edit]Dear Bootleg: Welcome! I saw that an editor reverted your text on the Marxist views of Jesus. I do not see why, on principle anyway, we cannot add something like this. Plase stop by talk:Jesus, suggest we add it and put your text there first. Be prepared to ask for your sources and have references from a book or two at the ready. Likely your work (or some of it) will be well-received. --CTSWyneken 11:18, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
Cleanup tag in New York Mets
[edit]Please don't remove the cleanup tag in New York Mets without fixing it, or at least responding to my reasons for adding it outlined at Talk:New York Mets#Cleanup Piazza section. Thanks. —Wknight94 (talk) 03:29, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for cleaning that up a bit. You could have felt free to remove the cleanup tag too. It's just not generally considered kosher to remove a cleanup tag when no one has done anything to address the raised issues - if even only to say the raised issues are nonsense. Once someone has responded, then it's free to go. :) —Wknight94 (talk) 01:02, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
Hello! It may not have been your intent, but an edit you made removed quite a bit of material from this article. While it's not prohibited to remove content, you should specify why you are doing so in your edit summary, or on the article's talk page. Thanks! Seraphimblade Talk to me 03:04, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Howard Cosell.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Howard Cosell.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 05:06, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:The Sandman.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:The Sandman.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Bmg916Speak 19:40, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Iron Man 1994 TV title.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Iron Man 1994 TV title.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:44, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
