About Adrian Ma
Adrian has been engaged in automotive media and content creation since 2016, starting as an independent content creator in his spare time, before joining the CarBuzz Team as a writer in April 2024.
A lifelong car enthusiast since childhood, Adrian was recalling the names of car brands the moment he could speak. After discovering the field of content creation, he's combined his two interests into one here at CarBuzz.
Being raised in Asia allowed him to get a firsthand experience of cars and car culture from Japan, contributing to his current obsession with the import/'JDM' scene as a whole.
Adrian began writing for CarBuzz in 2024, applying his skills and expertise in feature content writing, automotive history/culture, and copywriting to deliver stories for the CarBuzz audience.
When not writing about, photographing, or helping sell cars, Adrian is looking for opportunities to combine his passion of car culture with anime/manga/Vtuber fandoms, especially among the world of 'itasha' vehicle owners.

He scouts for interesting and unique personalities to tell their car-related stories to a global audience.

Alongside media projects, Adrian regularly engages in consultacy within the vehicle trade on online platforms as well as vehicle sourcing alongside other career endeavors.
Some of his previous work has been with platforms such as Cars & Bids, CarinLifeHK, and Sotheby's Motorsports.
Through his personal tastes in cars as well as interactions with owner groups and collectors, Adrian specializes in JDM models, classic Youngtimer era German models (80s/90s), and is currently studying the Porsche 911 range, as well as the emerging EV market in Asia.
Favorite Car
Toyota Altezza/Lexus IS (SXE10) - it has been Adrian's dream car since Middle School and since he has always aspired to own one.
For now, he's built up a SXE10-shrine with diecast cars and related memorabilia.
