Bloodborne Movie is an upcoming film adaptation based on FromSoftware's video game, Bloodborne, that released on March 24, 2015. Bloodborne Movie is officially confirmed to be an R-rated animated film that will be produced by PlayStation Productions, Lyrical Animation, and Seán McLoughlin, or better known for his YouTube name, "JackSepticEye". The movie is announced by Sony Pictures at the CinemaCon that took place on April 13–16, 2026, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

After the official announcement at the CinemaCon, JackSepticEye made a follow-up video, confirming his role in the production of the Bloodborne Movie. He talked about Sony Pictures presenting the list of the movies they're working on, including the Bloodborne Movie that he will be producing. The movie will be an R-rated animated film that will be based on the video game Bloodborne, which was developed by FromSoftware.
Bloodborne Movie details such as casts/voice actors, movie writer, directors, and other involved personnel remain unknown, but JackSepticEye promises that, as someone who is passionate about FromSoftware games, and how the franchise is embedded into his life, he will "fight tooth and nail" to try and make sure the film will come out as good as possible.

Everything We Know So Far: Bloodborne Movie
Bloodborne Movie is an animated film adaptation of the Bloodborne video game, developed by FromSoftware and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Bloodborne is a game that takes place in Yharnam, a city that is known for using blood for treating all kinds of diseases, and so, many humans try to get inside in hopes of receiving a treatment. However, the blood that is famous for its all-healing power, is not as "healing" as it was thought to be, but those who rule in Yharnam is making sure that the truth about this blood remain within the city, and prevents it from leaking to the outside world.
At the start of the game, we see this cutscene between the protagonist and an unknown man, talking about Paleblood and the city of Yharnam. This man will offer a contract to the player, allowing them to receive the highly-sought after Yharnam blood, in exchange for offering their service to the city. This will then mark the beginning of the player's identity as the hunter, who will be given a task to defeat the beasts that plague the city. The hunter will then go on to fight beasts using weapons that are available to them, to carry out their contract with Yharnam.
After publication, the game goes on to receive multiple awards and nominations, including 2016 BAFTA Games Award (Game Design), 2015 Japan Game Award for Excellence for the game director, Miyazaki Hidetaka, 2015 Golden Joystick Award (Best Original Game), (Playstation Game of the Year), and many more awards.

In the middle of the Elden Ring Hype in 2024, Miyazaki, Hidetaka said in an IGN interview that, FromSoftware does not own the current IP to Bloodborne, and that it is not up to him to decide whether the game will be getting a remake or not.
Unfortunately, and I've said this in other interviews, it's not in my place to talk about Bloodborne specifically. We simply don't own the IP at FromSoftware. For me personally, it was a great project, and I have a lot of great memories for that game, but we're not at liberty to speak to it."
Even though the Bloodborn remake appears to have hit a wall, the game will instead be getting a Bloodborne Movie that will be produced by FromSoftware-passionate gamer, Seán McLoughlin, better known for his YouTube presence as JackSepticEye, proclaiming his love and admiration for the Bloodborne franchise, will push him to deliver a film that is true to its source. The movie will be produced together with PlayStation Productions and Lyrical Animation.
