I rarely write reviews for apps but as soon as I saw this dropped, I was immediately excited! I have been playing another jigsaw puzzle app for a year or two and I was soooo annoyed with the ads that would pop up while working a puzzle but the subscription they offered was too much for too little content (and the content that was offered was very stock photo options with very little actually cute puzzles). Not this one! So many amazing designs are offered! Disney, art, paintings and so much more. I love that you can use your own photos for puzzles and the organization for bigger puzzles with the trays and table settings is a million times better than the app I was using before. I’ve seen a few people complain that a lot of the puzzles max at 1000 pieces - I’m personally not too upset with that at the moment but I would love to try my hand at a 3,000 or 5,000 piece puzzle sometime in the future. I love puzzles but I have a zoo at home and it is impossible for me to work on a real puzzle without losing the pieces thanks to my lovely cats so I work on digital puzzles instead.Hands down the best puzzle app on the App Store! If you like puzzles, I think you will love this app. I’ve spent so much time working puzzles since launch and guarantee I’ll put in many more!

Update: i’m late updating my review, but customer service was great. It was just a couple of days before the problem with my puzzles was fixed. I still love this app!First, let me say that I loved this app when it used to let me play. I have deleted and reloaded it many many times. I’ve cleaned out my cache. I’ve updated my iPhone. I’ve turned my Wi-Fi on and off. I’ve restarted my phone. I have a strong Internet and cellular connection, but the app keeps telling me I need a network connection. When I open the app, it lets me complete the cupcake puzzle, but that’s it. App will not load anything else. I have plenty of memory. Please help! Was I playing too much? That’s the only thing I can think of.

This puzzle app does the job. Love the wide range of puzzle options, ability to use your own picture, and I can get into the puzzling pretty well. It would be nice if there were more varied cuts to the puzzle pieces, but overall not a big deal.The one thing really keeping the app from 5 stars is the tutorial prompts. Now obviously when you start using the app, it’s good to learn where things are. But I’m now 100 puzzles in and it is still reminding me you can filter to edge pieces at the start of EVERY SINGLE PUZZLE. The message blocks seeing puzzle pieces until I dismiss it. Funny thing is, whether or not I want to filter to edges, I’m tired of being told! It’s bad for both people who don’t want the feature and people who do want it at this point! Same thing with the message about locking the board zoom. Here’s a hint on locking the view: I never ever ever want to do it, because it is actively bad at puzzle sizes greater than about 150 pieces on a phone screen. Try it, and see if you can do the puzzle. Telling me about it is annoying noise. I’ve looked for something to turn these off in the settings multiple times and found nothing.Find some way to suppress or let me disable these annoyances and I’ll easily bump my rating up to 5 stars.

The good: Arcade version has no ads, no IAPs, and the multiple currencies for buying/earning access to new images are removed—you have access to every puzzle in the database, every background, every feature. Plus: Piece count goes all the way up to 1024, which should be more satisfying than my favorite jigsaw app’s 500. There are a couple good QoL features like Edges-only mode if you want, or toggling piece rotation. You can also use your own images. The bad: The largest virtual table isn’t anywhere near big enough for all the pieces *and* the puzzle; even on the largest iPad Pro, the screen feels cramped with even 10%-15% of the piece count out of the tray. Figured out how they meant for me to use the “sorting trays”; look in the “…” menu while in a puzzle to find it—game seriously needs better tutorialization of features. Fighting constantly against the tiny space, the game won’t stop reminding me I can lock the table (lock out zooming & panning!), the last thing I want. Many of the backgrounds (“tables”) are low-res, distorted images and once you unlock them you can’t get rid of them. (Edit: The backgrounds look okay in portrait mode; they only look awful in landscape.) All the puzzle images are square, the piece counts are square numbers rather than round numbers, and the piece shapes are also square rather than rectangular. It takes a silly number of taps to get out of a finished puzzle & it auto-selects a next puzzle and tries to put you right into it; both obviously artifacts of the ad-filled version’s design. There are also several icons & symbols left over (with no explanation) marking certain images as though they required a secondary currency, or ads, to unlock—despite being unlocked already. Oh, and simple features like panning and zooming aren’t smooth. I’m getting stuttering and lag on an M1 iPad Pro, even with low piece counts. Considering how low-res the entire interface is and how little is involved, this seems ridiculous.
