I recently downloaded this as I already have the FreeCell and addiction versions of mobilityware’s games and they are always well functioning and classic. I missed good ole solitaire from my early computer days and wanted the classic easy to use edition- which is exactly what this game is! A quick setup of the options I like (3 card draw, hardness levels, etc) and I was off playing my old favorite! Great! BUT I noticed in the menu an option for “multiplayer” so I thought why not?! GAME CHANGER!!! whoa- if I knew this feature existed, I would have downloaded this game ages ago! The multiplayer lets you race against another live player to see who can beat the game first within 5 minutes. It’s become my new addiction! I love that no matter when I click on it, there’s always a player available and yes, there is ad as to watch first, but it’s quick and you can X out of it after like 10 seconds so doesn’t bother me. (Not sure why all the complaining about Ads from other reviews- they are short, quick and not obnoxious). Love this game! Easy to play and great app functionality and I spend way too much time on it lately. Enjoy!One suggestion for developers: could be really fun if the first person on the multiplayer game to put up an Ace got a bonus 100 points- would make rushing to that first card more exciting and since it’s a race anyway, could be the difference of winning or losing on those rounds you get stuck. Just an idea for a fun little twist on an already fun game! Thanks!

This is a very clean game. Meaning there are no special sounds that can be annoying at times. It's a solitaire game that is as close to playing with an actual deck of cards. It's fun. At times it's challenging. Then it's not. Which is great. Who wants to lose all the time? On the other side, who wants to win every time? There is one issue that I find very annoying. Most times I can solve the game. Probably 99% of the time I win. But if I do find I can't solve the game, no matter how many times I try, even going so far as moving to the next month, the same cards are dealt over and over. If I can't solve it after 2-3 weeks I would think they deliver a different set of cards. I've even tried rebooting my iPhone hoping that would work. Nope. Nothing. Same old cards. Other than that, it's a great game if you want to play a clean nice solitaire game. But I am very frustrated right now. This has never happened to me since I've first playing the game with this app. I have 2 hands in July I'm stuck on. I want to move on. When September starts I won't even be able to try for the zillionth time. You can only go back one month. UGH!! Very frustrated!!!!!! In response to Petunia...... I am unable up to today so far also unable to solve the July 9 game. AND the July 12 game. Very frustrating. I've been playing this game for several months. I love it. I think the ability to use the hint button is a big help. I still get stuck on a level now and then that just has to go into solitaire heaven. I really have nothing negative to say about the game. I do wish (it may be there but I don't see it) a visible button to show you how to solve a game. But besides that great game. Download if you love solitaire!

UPDATE! The new changes are frustrating. I deleted this app and went in search of another. Tried several. Nothing. Not a single one even came close to this app. The features and customizable settings set this app a part from all others by far. I’ll just have to live with the terrible changes. This new layout has been out for several months now. I wanted to give it a real shot before writing a review. I HATE it. Where to start? The new Daily Challenge calendar is hard to see the crowns with or without jewels. The stupid bar at the bottom showing progress to the next ugly trophy is just a waste of time and is just another thing between seeing my stats for that deal. The level ups is fine but again another thing between me and the stats. If I miss a day on the daily challenge, there is no easy way to get to it if I view my stats from the game I just played. If I view the stats, I have to go to menu then wait for the calendar to load and then I get an ad to finally play the next game. It’s TOO much. That was my favorite part of this app before the whole revamp, it was simple. I can play my game without all the other hype. I’m seriously considering deleting this app for one of the hundreds of other solitaire apps. I’m so disappointed. I play this game daily and usually multiple times a day, but not anymore. Don't get me wrong, it needed updates, but not a complete revamp with unnecessary features.

I am very frustrated by the trend of apps that want you to subscribe and pay a monthly fee to get rid of ads. This is by far the best Solitaire app for IOS but the ads are ridiculous. It would be tolerable if they were not so long, but it’s really irritating to wait 30-60 seconds between deals just to close out of the ad. I noticed a lot of people commenting about the message to “update the app” and those are actually ads too. If you wait long enough an ‘X’ pops up to close it. That’s very sneaky and annoying since I’m sure a lot of people fall for it. The developers should consider not allowing those types of ads because it makes YOU look sneaky and unethical. People think Mobilityware is constantly asking them to update the app and then it drives people away. If you offered a one time fee to remove ads, I would pay it. The fee would have to be within reason…like I’d probably pay up to $7.99 to remove ads because I like the daily challenges and the other events offered to give variety but then you can also just play normal Solitaire so there’s appeal for many different types of players. But I refuse to pay a monthly subscription for that. Your customers would appreciate you SO much more if you offered a one-time fee to remove the ads. Please consider!
