Goku and Vegeta have gotten stronger than ever in Dragon Ball Super. By the end of the anime, they've achieved new heights by unlocking Ultra Instinct and Super Saiyan Blue Evolved respectively. Assuming Dragon Ball Super: Beerus wraps up in early 2027, Dragon Ball Super 2 will air sometime late 2027 with the release of Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol. Goku will remain stronger than Vegeta as he finally masters Ultra Instinct in the Moro Saga, but all that will change in the anime's next story arc.
The Prince of All Saiyans, Vegeta is going to grow stronger than ever in Dragon Ball Super 2 as he unlocks new forms and finally surpasses Goku once & for all. Vegeta is currently more powerful than Goku is as of Dragon Ball Super Chapter 103, and will beginning the Black Frieza Saga the stronger of the two Saiyans. Dragon Ball Super 2 is going to be the best thing that's ever happened to Vegeta as he officially leaves Goku in the dust.
Ultra Ego Vegeta Has More Potential Than Ultra Instinct Goku
Goku has been training non-stop since the Tournament of Power in order to master Ultra Instinct and reach his full potential. By the end of the Dragon Ball Super anime, Goku has seemingly surpassed Vegeta for good, but all that is going to change in Dragon Ball Super 2's Granolah the Survivor Saga once Vegeta unlocks Ultra Ego. Ultra Ego is a destructive transformation that gives Vegeta the full power of a God of Destruction.
On top of greatly raising Vegeta's Power Level, Ultra Ego makes Vegeta grow stronger the longer he fights – the only downside is that Vegeta doesn't know how to fully utilize Ultra Ego's overwhelming power, so he exhausts himself before he can defeat either Granolah or Gas. Notably, Ultra Ego in its base state is enough to bring Vegeta up to par with True Ultra Instinct Goku, who can use Super Saiyan forms on top of UI to raise his Power Level. With a little training, Ultra Ego Vegeta will already surpass Perfected Ultra Instinct Goku.
Vegeta Will Officially Surpass Goku in Dragon Ball Super 2

Vegeta will officially catch up to Goku during the anime's adaptation of the Granolah the Survivor Saga, but he'll also go on to beat Goku in a one-and-one fight when Dragon Ball Super 2 gets around to remaking Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. After being defeated by Black Frieza at the end of the Granolah arc, Goku and Vegeta start training even harder than ever. During the Super Hero Saga, they'll spend most of the story arc locked in a one-on-one duel where neither character is allowed to use transformations.
In the end, Vegeta will finally surpass Goku. Although both Saiyans are evenly matched in their base forms, Vegeta is slightly stronger, as well as being the more skilled fighter. Vegeta defeats Goku by dodging his last punch and knocking him down with one final blow, before dropping to the ground himself. For the first time in a long time, Vegeta will officially be stronger than Goku. As of Dragon Ball Super Chapter 103, Goku hasn't shown any signs that he's caught up to Vegeta. If anything, Vegeta might be even stronger than he lets on.

Vegeta Might Be Even Stronger Than Gohan
In Dragon Ball Super Chapter 103, Gohan Beast fights Perfected Ultra Instinct Goku, Super Saiyan Broly, and Super Saiyan Blue Evolved Vegeta. Gohan Beast was able to knock Goku out of Perfected Ultra Instinct when they fought and was able to easily throw Broly around like he was nothing. Despite this, Vegeta decides to use Super Saiyan Blue Evolved and not Ultra Ego when he fights Gohan. Vegeta isn't somebody who underestimates his opponents, so if he's using SSBE, it's because he knows it's enough against Gohan Beast.
This suggests that, at full power, Ultra Ego Vegeta might even be stronger than Gohan Beast. Toyotarou has confirmed that Dragon Ball Super's five main characters are all in the same tier of power, so Ultra Ego Vegeta cannot be far off from Gohan's Beast form. It'll take a few years to get there, but once Dragon Ball Super 2 finally gets around to the Super Hero Saga, hopefully the anime expands Chaper 103's Super Saiyan battle royale by showing Gohan's full battle against Vegeta and the rest of the Saiyans. Seeing Vegeta in action will put to rest, once and for all, just how powerful he is compared to Gohan.
