Rex Infernus spawns you in the House, a location that features a few side easter eggs (like the painting and the piano), but it's also where you can get Quick Revive. If you want to return to the House, you will actually need to do a pretty lengthy quest, but it pays off, as you can also upgrade the Void Claw grapple hook into the Void Talon, and you can follow the step-by-step guide below to complete this process!

To return to the House and get the Void Claw upgrade, you must first have activated Pack-a-Punch and obtained the Warden's Blight wonder weapon, and you can do both of these with the guides we've linked in-text!

How to Return to the House in Rex Infernus

From the Nexus Forge, face the House by looking south. In the collapsed wall of the house, to the right of the center (as shown above), there is a basketball that you can shoot. Once you shoot the ball, it will fall from the house into the endless pit below, which will then get you a voiceline from the Twins.

Now, at the start of every round, a blue symbol will spawn on the exterior of the house. You need to memorize the order in which these symbols appear, and continue proceeding through the rounds until there are a total of four symbols. For instance, my four symbols in order were: middle left, middle right, far right, far left.

When it's an Exfil Round, which occurs from Round 11 and every 5 rounds after, you can shoot the four blue symbols in the order in which they appeared. If you've done so correctly, the four symbols will begin to flash, and the Twins will make a comment.

Now, interact with the Exfil Booth at the Nexus Forge and defeat the Web Mother HVT that spawns. When you interact with the Exfil Booth, you will see that you can "Teleport to Her House". This will allow you to enter the house again!

Before you enter the House, make sure you have the Warden's Blight, and make sure you've used Pack-a-Punch, as you will need the charged shot of the Warden's Blight to get the Void Talon upgrade.

Once you enter Her House, head upstairs and look at the south wall to find the bathroom. You can now hold R2 or L2 to fire a charged shot from the Warden's Blight into the room, and when it's done, the Eye of the Forge item will be spat out for you to collect.

You will now need to survive a round in Her House against Ravagers and Doppelghasts, and once they are all dead, the phone downstairs will ring, and you are free to leave to return to the Nexus Forge. The Eye of the Forge can be used on any Void Pedestal to upgrade the Void Claw, BUT it will only upgrade that specific Void Pedestal.

Since you can only upgrade one Void Pedestal, I recommend the one facing south in the Nexus Forge. The upgraded Void Claw, the Void Talon, has further range, stays in your loadout for longer, and can be re-acquired multiple times per round. It's also needed for the main easter egg, and we have a guide for that above!
