Qingxiao is a playable 5-star Aero character in Wuthering Waves. She's a main DPS who needs as much field time as possible to deal DMG and inflict enemies with Tune Strain - Shifting on enemies. ATK is increased by 12%. Inflicting Tune Strain - Shifting grants 11.2% Aero DMG Bonus for 2s, stacking up to 5 times. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s. Upon reaching the max stack limit, gain the following effects: - This Aero DMG Bonus effect's duration is extended to 30s. - Aero DMG ignores 10% of the target's DEF during this effect.

Glint of Clouds is Qingxiao's signature weapon and her best-in-slot, as it grants her a significant increase in DPS. Glint of Clouds greatly increases Qingxiao's Aero DMG and allows her to ignore a portion of enemies' DEF when dealing Aero DMG. The 5-star Sword also increases her ATK% and Crit Rate, giving you more freedom to stack more Crit DMG on her Echo build.

Red Spring

R1 Effect

Increase ATK by 12%. When dealing Basic Attack DMG, the wielder gains 10% Basic Attack DMG Bonus for 14s. This effect can be triggered once per second, stacking up to 3 times. When the wielder's Concerto Energy is consumed, gain 40% Basic DMG Bonus for 10s. This effect can be triggered once per second and ends when the wielder is switched off the field.

Red Spring focuses on increasing its wielder's Crit Rate and Basic Attack DMG, which is viable for Qingxiao because of her ability to deal DMG equally through her Basic Attack, Heavy Attack, and Resonance Liberation. So, giving her a 5-star Sword like Red Spring means you need to focus more on using Basic Attacks when she's on the field.

Emerald Sentence

R1 Effect

ATK is increased by 12%. Casting Echo Skill within 10s after casting Intro Skill or Basic Attack grants 1 stack of Bamboo Cleaver, which grants 30% Heavy Attack DMG Bonus to the wielder. This effect can be triggered by Echoes of the same name once only, stacking up to 2 times, lasting for 12s. Casting Echo Skill at max stacks does not reset the duration. This effect can be triggered once every 10s and ends early if the wielder is switched off the field. Casting Intro Skill grants 20% Echo Skill DMG Bonus to all Resonators in the team for 30s. Effects of the same name cannot be stacked.

Same with Emerald Sentence; it grants Qingxiao Crit Rate and a large amount of Heavy Attack DMG, which also works well with her, especially if she starts dealing more Heavy Attacks during her rotation. Additionally, it has a nice Echo Skill DMG buff for the team. It's not super important for Qingxiao's teams, but it's there.

When Resonance Skill is released, increases Basic Attack DMG and Heavy Attack DMG by 64%, stacking up to 1 time(s). This effect lasts for 10s and can be triggered 1 time(s) every 1s.

Lumingloss is Qingxiao's best F2P choice in WuWa. While it has low Base ATK and an ATK% Substat, it makes up for that with its passive effect that grants Qingxiao up to 64% Basic and Heavy ATK DMG. For an F2P weapon, that's amazing for Qingxiao and allows her to still perform well as her team's Main DPS. However, it's still an F2P choice, and it won't come close to how broken her premium options are.

Qingxiao's combat mechanics revolve around inflicting Tune Strain - Shifting as many times as possible on enemies, especially bosses. Every time she inflicts Tune Strain - Shifting, Qingxiao will gain 20% Crit DMG and 30% Aero DMG, on top of the 10% Aero DMG she gets from the 2-piece set. So, it's very effective to build her with the Heart of Evil's Purge Echo set to capitalize on every time she inflicts Tune Strain - Shifting.

Calamity Effigy is a Cost 4 Main Echo that belongs to the Heart of Evil's Purge Echo set. It increases Qingxiao's Aero DMG by 10% and another 10% when she inflicts Tune Strain - Shifting, perfectly mimicking her playstyle and mechanics.
