Gamescom Opening Night Live surprised fans by announcing the remastered edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as a free upgrade coming in September. But those waiting for the upgrade have plenty more Witcher 3 content to enjoy right now.
CD Projekt Red is currently working on the highly anticipated The Witcher 3 DLC, Songs of the Past. Much of the excitement surrounding the upcoming content stems from the success of the game's previous DLCs, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. After revealing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered, CD Projekt Red hit fans with another surprise by dropping the price of its renowned expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. Meanwhile, the GOG storefront has started a limited-time giveaway offering a 90-minute concert featuring all of The Witcher 3's original scores, including those used in the now-free expansions. While the expansions will likely remain free to keep from now on, the concert promotion ends soon, on August 27.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is already one of the longest role-playing games out there.
