Totenreich Easter Egg Steps Overview

  • Step 1: Activate Pack-a-Punch.
  • Step 2: Acquire the Jotunn Star (Wonder Weapon).
  • Step 3: Get the Transmitter through the Crowbar and Flak Gun Round.
  • Step 4: Get the Wunderbarrage Controller from the array tower.
  • Step 5: Obtain 3 pieces of Uranium.
  • Step 6: Complete the Claw Machine to get the Atomkraft Core.
  • Step 7: Defend the Atomkraft Core to get the Charged Atomkraft Core.
  • Step 8: Cook the Dravakar Shard with a Disciple Injection Scorestreak.
  • Step 9: Use the Sun Stone to activate Runes.
  • Step 10: Light the bonfires directed by the Runes.
  • Step 11: Defeat Dravakar to complete the easter egg.

Step #1: Turn on the Power & Activate Pack-a-Punch

After spawning, make your way to Fishery Island (from either the left or right; the amount of essence spent is the same). From here, you'll need to take ziplines to either end of the map to activate the power switches in Core Foundry and Skallen Market.

With the power activated, you can now head to the northeast of the map to find the collapsed Origins giant robot, Tyr. Interact with Tyr's Foot or Tyr's Shoulder to enter the robot, and interact with the console to activate it. Once you leave the robot, you'll land by a corpse that drops the Admin Keycard.

You can now take the Admin Keycard to open the War Factory bunker, outside the Core Foundry. From inside, open the admin door, and you'll find the Glocke Drop Controller. You now need to take this item to Fishery Island, where you can activate the Glocke Drop Controller (Scorestreak), and after surviving, you will have spawned Pack-a-Punch.

Step #2: Acquire the Jotunn Star Wonder Weapon

Enter the Dry Dock, where you will find an open building in the west known as the Titan Crane. On the right wall is a button you can press, which will lower a wall from a crane. You need to run and jump off the wall and interact with the front of the ship as you fall to get the Chain Links.

On the Storm Bridge, you can find Deadshot Daiquiri. By Deadshot Daiquiri, there is a truck, and you can look into the back of the truck to find Chilly Chunks. Once you pick them up, you can place them on a table in the Skallen Market by the middle tree.

You now need to wait in the Skallen Market for a Special Round (Frost Zombies), where a white Zursa bear will spawn. After killing Vornaketh, you can pick up the Lantern. Head east of the Skallen Market to find a hut in the Burial Grounds, where you can then interact with the left side of the front door to open it.

Inside the Burial Grounds, place the Lantern on the stone altar. You will now have four symbols appear on each side of the altar, and the goal is to interact with the matching constellations that appear in a specific order:

  • #1: Left side of the table (facing south)
  • #2: Right side of the table (facing north)
  • #3: Back side of the table (facing west)
  • #4 Front side of the table (facing east)

You need to watch your symbol on the altar, then interact with the same symbol that's currently rotating around the walls, and repeat across all four sides of the table until Astrid spawns. (If you do this in the wrong order, your symbols disappear, so interact with the symbol on the table to reset.)

You now need to follow Astrid and feed her zombie souls by killing them around her. She'll move from the Skallen Market to Edskallen Square, which will open a jumping puzzle. Climb the ascended platforms and jump across them to the entrance of the Lighthouse.

Continue up the Lighthouse and climb up the stone platforms to reach the top of the Lighthouse, where you can now enter inside and claim the Jotunn Star Wonder Weapon, which will replace your Dedicated Melee Weapon.

Step #3: Acquire the Crowbar to Get the Flak Gun Round and the Transmitter

Head inside the Lighthouse and head to the second floor, where, on the shelf facing east, you can find a Crowbar. You can use the Crowbar on wooden boxes around the map to get the Flak Gun Round. Here are the locations to search:

  • Wooden Crate #1: Inside the Core Foundry, downstairs by the Wall-Buy weapon.
  • Wooden Crate #2: Inside the War Factory, when facing the northwest wall.
  • Wooden Crate #3: Inside the Dry Dock, when facing southwest, in the back right corner behind Speed Cola.
  • Wooden Crate #4: By the south wall on Fjord Road

You can find the correct crate by viewing the note in the War Factory where you grabbed the Glocke Drop Controller, but we recommend just opening them all, even if that does mean you'll get stunned 6 times in a row.

With the Flak Gun Round now obtained from your wooden crate, take it to Beacon Island (Lighthouse) and interact with the Flak Gun in the west area to load the Flak Gun Round. Use Jotunn Star to melee the Flak Gun, which will see it shoot a giant robot head.

You can now head over to Eidskallen Landing and interact with the giant robot head to get the Transmitter. You can now enter Tyr's Head and place the Transmiter on the left side once you climb the ladder (facing the front).

Step #4: Solve the Tyr Blinking Lights Puzzle and Get the Wunderbarrage Controller

Inside Tyr's Head, there are two flashing lights on the left and right of the terminal. You need to count the number of times the left and right lights blink before resetting their sequence. For example, our sequence had the left and right lights both blink 5 times, meaning our numbers were Amplitude 5 and Frequency 5.

The numbers will blink again after this sequence, so memorize this sequence too. For example, our next set of lights had the left lights flash 2 times, and the right lights flash 8 times, meaning our numbers were Amplitude 2 and Frequency 8.

You can now enter the Core Foundry, where, by Double Tap, you will find a frozen rope leading to the array tower. You need to use a Molotov or Charged Jotunn Star on the frozen rope to melt the ice and then climb it (you can find Molotovs on the map or use the Crafting Table).

You will find a transmitter here, and you can interact with it to input your first numbers from Tyr's Head, with Amplitude being the left number (left stick) and Frequency being the right number (right stick). Make sure the dials on the left and right are lined up with the correct number. On the next round, input your second set of numbers.

Opposite Double Tap, you can enter a room to find the Wunderbarrage Controller on a table, but don't grab it yet, as we will use it for Step #6.

Step #5: Obtain All Three Uranium Pieces

Uranium Location #1 (Fishing Rod)

The first Uranium can be obtained by looking around the water for green fish jumping out. You will need to obtain a Fishing Rod (Olaf's Cod Cranker), which can be found in barrels around the map. You need to interact with red fishing pole holders, wait for the rod to turn blue, then interact with it to pull up loot from one of these spawns:

  • Face east from Eidskallen Landing, facing the Lighthouse.
  • Face west from Eidskallen Landing, facing the buoy and giant robot hand.
  • Face east from Eidskallen Square when facing the Lighthouse.
  • Face northwest from Eidskallen Square, opposite the white house.
  • Face east from Fishery Island.
  • Face south from Beacon Island (Lighthouse).
  • Face east from Beacon Island (Lighthouse).
  • Face northeast from Dry Dock towards the buoy.
  • Face southeast from Tyr's Foot.
  • Face southwest from Tyr's Shoulder.

You will need to find the green fish in the water, and fish at that location, where you can then pull up your fishing rod to spawn an Irradiated Ravager, who will be immune and despawn.

You can find the Irradiated Ravager in the next round, roaming the map. The Irradiated Ravager can now be damaged, but will teleport away after enough damage, so keep looking for it, damage it until it dies, and collect the Uranium.

Uranium Location #2 (Glocke Drop)

For this Uranium, you need the Glocke Drop Controller, which can be acquired through the Crafting Table on the Scorestreaks tab or acquired randomly by fishing.

With the Glocke Drop Controller, make sure you have a lot of zombies, as you will need to deploy the Glocke Drop and kill all floating zombies, and repeat until the Glocke Drop has three green dots, which will reward you with Uranium.

Uranium Location #3 (ARC-XD)

You will now need to acquire an ARC-XD, either through the Crafting Table or by grabbing the free one that sits on a crate in the southwest area of Eidskallen Square. With the ARC-XD obtained, head to the Core Foundry and shoot the metal vent at the northeast wall (top floor).

Deploy the ARC-XD and push it through the vent, where you can go down the stairs and boost across the ramp to reach a secret lab. Inside the lab, detonate the ARC-XD by the barrels blocking the door. On Fishery Island, to the left of Pack-a-Punch, you can now enter the Group 935 Genetic Lab.

Face down the south corridor in the Group 935 Genetic Lab, and you will find 5 numbers (from 1 to 5). Two specific numbers will have a radiation symbol that you need to focus on. The numbers you have will correspond with a letter:

  • 1 = A
  • 2 = B
  • 3 = C
  • 4 = D
  • 5 = E

Around the Group 935 Genetic Lab, you can find heads in jars labelled with a letter. You need to find and pick up the jars with your corresponding letters and place them on the machine at the south wall by the cell containing the Uranium (for instance, our numbers were 2 and 5, which meant our labelled jars were B and E).

By placing the correct heads on the machine, you will get a purple gas canister, which you can pick up and use on the corpse at the north wall to get the Necrospike. You can use the Necrospike on the cell to lockpick the door, which is done by rotating the Right Stick until each pin glows to open the door and allow you to pick up the Uranium.

Step #6: Solve the Claw Machine Puzzle to Get the Atomkraft Core

You will now need the Wunderbarrage Controller, which can be obtained from Crafting Tables or from fishing. You need to use the Wunderbarrage Controller on the building southeast of Melee Macchiato. You can now head upstairs and enter the Machine Workshop (but this may take a minute or two to register).

Inside, you will find a claw machine minigame. You need to interact with the claw machine (zombies can't hurt you during this), and you need to connect enough uranium so that the dial sits in the green rather than the red.

Step #6 Solve the Claw Machine Puzzle to Get the Atomkraft Core (4)

This is simpler than you might think, as you just need to connect enough uranium canisters. Each uranium canister adds a small amount of charge. We managed to complete this by placing one uranium to activate the circuit, then placing the final two uraniums next to each other, separate from the group.

If you place the third uranium cannister, and it under/overcharges the system, you will have to try again in the next round.

Step #7: Place & Defend the Atomkraft Core

Once you've managed to balance the charge and place it in the green, you will obtain the Atomkraft Core. You cannot sprint or use ziplines with the Atomkraft Core, and you will need to take it to the Eidskallen Landing, on a crate to the right of Quick Revive.

With the Atomkraft Core now placed, enter Lief's Boat Repair (the building by Quick Revive) and interact with the generator when facing west. You will now need to defend the Atomkraft Core from zombies, but if progress stalls, interact with the generator again to jumpstart it.

You will then be able to pick up the Charged Atomkraft Core, which you then need to take to the barrel at Storm Bridge when facing the giant robot (without sprinting or using ziplines). You will take damage while carrying the Charged Atomkraft Core, so feel free to drop it (hold Circle/B) to regain health.

Step #8: Cook the Dravakar Shard With the Disciple Injection

After you've placed the Charged Atomkraft Core, the large ice giant will be shot by the giant robot. You can now find the Dravakar Shard in the northwest area of Tyr's Foot. With this item, place it onto the unlit bonfire in the center of the Blodheim Hall and light it with a Jotunn Star Charged Shot.

Once the bonfire has blue fire underneath it, you can activate Disciple Injection (there's a free one in the Eidskallen Stave Church). With Disciple Injection, use LT/L2 to grab zombies, then LT/L2 to throw zombies directly onto the Dravakar Shard bonfire.

After you've gotten direct hits on the meat by throwing zombies, you will begin a lockdown. You will need to kill an HVT Necropincer, who will drop the Sun Stone (which may spawn by the bonfire itself). You can now take the Sun Stone and place it on the central altar of the Eidskallen Stave Church.

Step #9: Activate the Runes by Lighting the Bonfires

With the Stun Stone now placed, you can melee it with the Jotunn Star to activate a giant beam of light in the sky that will show you unique runes and arrows. This isn't as confusing as it looks, and we'll explain below:

  • There are three arrows within the circle.
  • Each arrow has horizontal lines through it, indicating its order. (Arrow #1 has 1 line, Arrow #2 has 2 lines, Arrow #3 has 3 lines).
  • Each arrow is pointing at your unique symbol, where you can find the corresponding symbols across the map and use a charged shot from Jotunn Star to light their bonfires.
  • You need to repeat this for all three arrows, making sure you're lighting the bonfires in order of Arrow #1, Arrow #2, and finally, Arrow #3.
  • When completed, all arrows will be pointing in the same direction, and you've completed this step.

This is the final step, and you can now enter Tyr's Head to begin the boss fight. It's essential to come prepared, as this is a beefy boss. You need the Jotunn Star for this fight. We also recommend tier 3 PaP ranged weapons like the Novaline and the Ray Gun Mark 2, along with all perks and tier 3 armor.

Step #10: Defeat the Dravakar Boss Fight

When you start the boss fight, a giant robot will wrestle with Dravakar, providing you with an opportunity to shoot Dravakar. Glowing red shards will be Dravakar's critical spots, but zombies will attack you during this phase.

After dealing enough damage, Dravakar will leave the area and spawn Gjallafrost, a floating head that will shoot ice walls at you. To kill the floating head, you need to fire a charged shot from Jotunn Star in its mouth as its eyes turn red to remove its immune shield, then shoot it with your bullet weapons to destroy it.

Activating the traps is extremely helpful, as you can spam charged shots and avoid freezing damage.

Step #10 Defeat the Dravakar Boss Fight (5)

Once the heads have been killed, Dravakar will return, and you can continue shooting his glowing red critical hit spots. You will need to stick behind pillars to avoid his meteor attacks and focus on his glowing red weak spots. If there's a red radius on the ground, you need to leave that area as you will take frost damage.

The Jotunn Star's lantern will stop you from freezing, and in co-op, it can be used to protect your allies from freezing while they shoot the boss.

In the final phase, Dravakar will trap you in the center of the arena with no way out. Dravakar can be damaged in his face, but he will also throw non-stop meteors at you. These meteors can be dodged by moving left to right and by going prone. Focus on avoiding his attacks and shoot when it's safe to do so, as there's no wipe mechanic.

Once his health bar depletes, he will be grabbed by the giant robot, and spit out the Shadowsmith trapped in ice, and the easter egg is complete!
