8 New Characters That Will Outclass Jinwoo In Solo Leveling Season 3

Solo Leveling is a phenomenal new-gen anime series that's all about the fights. Across Solo Leveling Seasons 1 and 2, Sung Jinwoo has grown tremendously in strength, and as such, he has defeated numerous overpowered enemies, such as Igris and the Ant King, two of the most notable ones. While these challenges were great, Season 3 will bring forward many more characters that can outclass the current Jinwoo, who has just reached level 100. Some of these characters have already been introduced in Solo Leveling Season 2, while others are going to excite all the fans with an exciting debut of their own in the next season.

The Architect

Solo Leveling Season 3 is going to potentially be even better than its predecessor, especially with one of the most anticipated returns. The first major antagonist that Sung Jinwoo will have to take on is a character known as The Architect. The Architect, later revealed to be named Kandiaru, is a powerful individual who lures Sung Jinwoo back to where it all started, in the Double Dungeon.

In the Double Dungeon, the Architect aims to defeat Jinwoo, and it is possible for him due to his control over the system. The Architect can even strip Jinwoo of some of his powers, notably his Shadow Army. If he had not been betrayed by Ashborn, Jinwoo would have definitely fallen in that arc. This exciting character will reveal some major secrets about the world of Solo Leveling, and also deliver exciting combat.

Ashborn

Ashborn is a very interesting character from the Solo Leveling series that anime-only watchers have yet to meet. He was the Shadow Monarch before Jinwoo, and he is quite overpowered. He has been around for quite some time and has partaken in many major battles.

In the next season of Solo Leveling, the Architect will aim to lure Jinwoo back in hopes of using him as a new vessel for Ashborn. Even though Ashborn and Jinwoo don't fight at that point in the story, the latter is far stronger overall. In fact, Jinwo’s own life is only saved thanks to Ashborn granting him his ultimate power: the Black Heart. Without the Black Heart, Jinwoo would have never reached the peak of his power that he achieved later on in Solo Leveling. Had it not been for Ashborn, he would have died in the Double Dungeon, and the story would have ended there.

Sung II-Hwan

Sung II-Hwan is a brilliant character who has already made an appearance in the Solo Leveling anime. He is the father of Jinwoo, who vanished years ago. Fans have already gotten a hint of his power in the anime, as he was able to easily defeat and wreck an S-Rank Hunter Hwang Dongsoo. As such, it's clear that Sung II-Hwan is at the very least around the same level as a National-level Hunter.

It's unclear how much content Season 3 will cover, but if it reaches the Monarch War arc, he will play a major role. In the Monarch War arc, Jiwnoo's father will finally get to show off his incredible powers. Even though Jinwoo is strong, at this point, he isn't anywhere close to his father in terms of power, and that will hopefully be evident in the next season of the show. He will be an interesting character to explore in the upcoming season with powers that will surely excite fans all over the world.

Thomas Andre

Thomas Andre is one of the strongest Hunters around in the world of Solo leveling. He is one of the few National Level Hunters and is considered the number one in the USA, as well as the whole world. Thomas Andre has already made a brief appearance in the anime, and it is clear to see that fans are hyped to see more from him. While Sung Jinwoo will eventually surpass him, when it comes to Season 3, Thomas definitely outclasses Sung Jinwoo. He is quite strong, being the vessel of a Ruler, and even possesses the overpowered ability known as Spiritual Body Manifestation. This spiritual form is quite flashy, and fans will surely have their first look at it soon enough in the anime.

Liu Zhigang

Liu Zhigang was first teased towards the end of Solo Leveling Season 2, and that teaser alone has excited all the fans for what's to come from this character in the third season. Undoubtedly, Liu seems to be very overpowered.

Among the official National-level Hunters of the Solo Leveling world, he was considered to be the strongest around for quite some time, just behind Thomas Andre. He is the only known official Chinese National-level Hunter, and in Asia, until the end of Season 3, he was the strongest. Liu Zhigang technically never gets a major battle. His characters can be seen as quite wasted, but it's undeniable that he is superior to Jinwoo until his next power-ups, which are the Black Heart, and later on, with his reawakening. He definitely outclasses the Korean Hunter at the moment.

Sillad

Sillad is being set up to be one of the major antagonists of the upcoming Solo Leveling season. He will act as a major troublemaker in the Monarchs War arc, if it is adapted in Season 3. Out of the three Monarchs that arrive to fight Jinwoo, which include Rakan and Querehsha, Sillad is undoubtedly the strongest.

He is known to be the Monarch of Frost, and he is sure to be a thorn in Jiwnoo's side later down the line. Out of all the upcoming challenges that Jinwoo is set to face, Sillad is going to pose the biggest of them all. It is only after Jinwoo's reawakening and his father's help that he is able to surpass and trump Sillad, which likely won't be until the end of Solo Leveling Season 3.

Kamish

Kamish is an interesting character from the Solo Leveling world, and he might just be the strongest S-Rank Gate Boss, stronger than even the likes of the Ant King. An alive Kamish technically never appears in the current ongoing timeline. However, through a short flashback and Jinwoo trying to turn him into a shadow, Kamish is still seen in Solo Leveling Season 3.

He was so strong that it took 4 National-level Hunters to take him down, in the form of Thomas Andre, Liu Zhigang, Christopher Reed, and Siddharth Bachchan, which is a testament to his overwhelming strength. The likes of Kamish could have easily defeated the Ant King and, up until a certain point, even Sung Jinwoo.

Antares

Depending on where Solo Leveling Season 3 concludes, fans could come to see the series' final antagonist, Antares. Antares is the oldest and strongest Monarch, and his power is quite overwhelming. Even by the end of Solo Leveling Season 3, Antares should still be stronger than Jinwoo, as he stands as the current strongest in this universe.

Antares' powers are undoubtedly at the pinnacle of the Solo Leveling world, and if there is one character that outclasses Jinwoo by a mile right now, it's definitely him. To see their clash however, fans will have to endure a very long wait.
