I wish I could say we had some scientific testing methodology, but it’s mostly just a case of playing matches and then adjusting sliders as needed, using last year’s sliders as a jumping off point. I usually do plus or minus ten if a setting doesn’t feel quite right, play a few more matches, then drop back down by five if I feel like I’ve gone too far.
I didn’t end up changing too much from last year’s sliders, save for finishers and signatures, as by default, this year’s game allows you to eat way too much damage and still kick out of a pin. There were a few other little tweaks and changes here and there, but that was the big one.
