WWE 2K26 provides one of the most authentic wrestling simulations to date, although, like an expensive supercar or a high-end PC, it requires a bit of fine-tuning to get the very best out of it. You can do this via the Gameplay menu, where you'll be presented with a series of toggles and sliders with which you can customize the experience to your liking.

There are 376 WWE 2K26 Superstars available at launch, with many more expected to be added over the course of the game's life cycle.
Many of these options will come down to personal preference, particularly those found in the Gameplay, Targeting, and Presentation sub-menus. However, if you're looking for the most realistic wrestling experience possible, you're going to want to tweak the WWE 2K26 Balancing sliders, as well as the Advanced Mini-Game settings.
The following WWE 2K26 slider settings will make matches feel more like real WWE broadcasts, with fewer reversals and a greater emphasis on momentum shifts, stamina management, and impactful finishers. We tested them on both the Hard and Legend difficulty settings before fine-tuning them for the latter.

At the request of one of our readers, I'm also including my settings for the pin and submission mini-game sliders. These are more for balancing difficulty than they are realism, so you'll probably need to tweak them a little to find the settings that provide the exact level of challenge that you're looking for. That said, if you plan on doing CPU vs CPU matches in Universe Mode, you should make sure that the two AI Button Press Strength sliders in the Submission Mini-Game menu are set to the same value, unless you want to increase or decrease the likelihood of a tapout.
