Three new games have just come to PlayStation Plus Extra. Farming Simulator 25, Blades of Fire, and Black Desert are the last games to join the PS Plus Extra library this June, a month that's seen the release of some real heavy hitters.

Kicking off the month with a bang, the free PS Plus June games were Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, and Grounded. Though it took some time for them to arrive, these PS Plus monthly games were eventually followed by Final Fantasy 16, Sonic x Shadow Generations, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and Life is Strange: Double Exposure, all of which joined the ever-growing PS Plus Extra library. PS Plus Premium also received a small but still worthwhile addition in the form of Gitaroo Man, a unique PS2 rhythm game.

  • Black Desert (PS5)

Originally announced via a PlayStation Blog post on June 10, three new games have just joined the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog in the US. These new PS Plus games for June are Farming Simulator 25, Blades of Fire, and Black Desert. Generally speaking, this is quite a diverse lineup to round out the month.

Released in November 2024, Farming Simulator 25 is the 15th mainline version of the long-running farming simulation game series. Just like its predecessors, Farming Sim 25 offers a relaxed family-friendly jaunt around the world, this time letting players cultivate their own land in East Asia, North America, and Central Europe. Though its gameplay loop will feel familiar to anyone who's picked up a previous entry, returning players will notice some new animals and crop types, new weather effects, improved graphics, and even more machines to drive.

Developed by Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Metroid: Samus Returns studio MercurySteam, Blades of Fire originally hit store shelves in May 2025. In this third-person action game, players must forge their own weapons and face off against enemies using a very unique Soulslike combat system that requires the use of specific weapon types when facing certain foes. Blades of Fire received a major 2.0 update last month that introduced a boss rush mode, a New Game Plus mode, new weapons, and a range of new and improved animations and technical features.

The final game in the PS Plus Extra June 2026 lineup is Black Desert. The predecessor to this year's breakout hit Crimson Desert, Pearl Abyss' Black Desert is a long-running MMORPG that first came to consoles in 2019. The Standard Edition of Black Desert, and the one now included in PS Plus Extra, gives players access to the core game as well as a polar bear pet, and a 15-day Value Pack that unlocks time-limited in-game bonuses like increased storage capacity and XP boosts. While PlayStation hasn't confirmed July's free PS Plus games or next month's PS Plus Extra lineup, subscribers can expect some official news in the coming days.
