Mistfall Hunter Roadmap: Upcoming Content and Season 2 Updates

Season 1 of Mistfall Hunter has landed quite strongly, with tons of content and six full playable classes. But there's more to come for the rest of the season, and many upcoming updates and content drops will bring lots of things to do in the Gyldenmist-plagued lands of Weavereach.

With new game modes for Solo and Trios, new maps, and new class variants right around the corner, this Road Map guide will explain players everything about the future developments of this thrilling PvPvE extraction ARPG.

Mistfall Hunter Roadmap (Season 1, 2, and Future Updates)

The Mistfall Hunter Roadmap Content Drops are divided into three phases for Season 1 and a sneak peak of what's coming ahead for Season 2, with the inclusion of a new class weapon for the Blackarrow: The Javelin, and other important changes. Let's take a look at each phase.

Season 1 Phase 1

• Einherjar Mode (New Difficulty level): players will need Dried Flower Knots to offer them at the Mist Lord Altars and summon the higher difficulty bosses.
• Mist Lord Challenge Unlocked (1 Boss in Hallowgrove, 2 Bosses on Brandrgarde).
• Season tasks unlocked:
  • A mysterious guest arrives at Windrest.
  • The guest bears news that will lead Gyldhunters toward an unknown fate.

• Season-Exclusive Content: Soul Harvest (an in-game dynamic event that can be triggered in Hallowgrove and Brandrgarde).
  • Gather Soul Cocoons.
  • Challenge the Soulgnawer.
  • Dive into a brand-new multiplayer showdown.
  • Earn exclusive Soul Harvest rewards.

• The Soul Harvest Exchange Shop offers: Exclusive collectibles, Soul Coins, Moonlight Nectar.

Season 1 Phase 2

• Season Tasks Fully Unlocked
  • Venture deeper alongside the mysterious guest.
  • A new crisis gradually surfaces.

• Complete Season Tasks to earn:

• Brandrgarde — Solo Mode Unlocked

Season 1 Phase 3

• New Monster: Golden Woodling

Season 2 Teaser & Upcoming Content

The devs have already revealed what their plans for Season 2 are, including a whole new Weapon Archetype for the Blackarrow: The Javelin, and a Season Exclusive progression system that would be added to the current Gyldhunter Levels.

The system could work in a similar way to that of Artifacts from Destiny 2, but take that with a pinch of salt, since this is only an example and Mistfall Hunter's new Seasonal Progression system could be entirely different. Here's what we know for sure about Season 2:

All the information available on the Javelin weapon seems to indicate that it might address the Blackarrow's intrinsic weakness at close range, by making it a hybrid class that can melee away from danger and quickly respond with supressing fire. But, as with all rumors, players should expect confirmation first before becoming hyped.

The devs are also committed to preserving fair play by enforcing a series of disciplinary measures on those who have used cheat engines or third-party software to gain unfair advantages, or committed illegal teaming up/stream sniping.

They're also actively investigating the stuttering and latency issues that have been happening frequently since the latest patches, and will deploy a no-downtime fix during the next stages of Season 1.
