Is It Possible To Get A Different Ending After The Bad Ending?
If you've answered Louis' question on the Skybound Avatar with "You’re absolutely right," your party members are shocked, and you'll get the "Fantasy is Ruined" bad ending in Metaphor ReFantazio. So what should you do now? All those hours invested in the game just to get the bad ending do leave a sour taste in the mouth. Is there any way to talk to Louis again and answer him differently?
The answer is yes. You don't have to replay the whole game just to get the true/good ending. Simply reload your previous save before encountering Louis in the final showdown. Although you'll have to sit through several cutscenes, dialogs, and do some repetitive fighting, you'll eventually reach the point of conversation with Louis at Tryant Star.
At that point, you can answer Louis correctly (as mentioned in the table above) to get the true/good ending in Metaphor: ReFantazio.
Apart from this, players can still get the bad ending if they accept what More is saying after the fight with Louis on the Tyrant Star. Similarly, when going through the Ancient Eldan Sanctum, you will discover the identity of the Prince, and choosing the “I refuse to know” option will also trigger the bad ending.

What Carries Over to NG+ in Metaphor ReFantazio?
Thankfully, one of the best things about Metaphor ReFantazio is that NG+ can still feel fresh since many elements from the base game carry over. When it comes to money and items, all of your Mag and Reeves carry forward, along with any items you have acquired during your journey. This includes all the dishes you cooked, healing items, armor sets, and more. The only things that do not carry over are key items, meaning you will have to acquire them again, including those needed for certain side quests.
Your Royal Virtues also carry over, meaning any checks you encounter early on can be instantly completed if you maxed them out in your first playthrough. Since they are already at max level, you do not have to spend days increasing them and can instead focus on Follower Bonds or exploring dungeons. Any enemies you have scanned will also have their affinities revealed, saving you the trouble of figuring out their weaknesses again.
All Archetype progress carries forward as well. If you maxed out all Archetypes on the protagonist in your first playthrough, unlocking them in NG+ will immediately grant you their maxed versions, allowing you to use high-level skills right away. This also applies to your party members.
NG+ also features a fight with the Redscale Dragon, which you can initiate by visiting More at the Akademia and interacting with the book. This is easily the hardest boss fight in the game, and since your level and stats reset to 0 in NG+, it is best to progress through the game first so the fight becomes more manageable.
You can also craft and use Sublime Spoonfuls, which grant four turn icons and make the fight much easier. However, crafting a Sublime Spoonful requires Lord of the Lake, Queen’s Honey Jar, and Gauntlet Shrooms. This means you will need to go fishing after arriving at Virga Island to gather enough fish for the recipe.
NG+ is also a great option if you want to earn any trophies or achievements you missed in your initial run, such as failing a quest for the All Quests trophy or not finding the Gold Beetles, which reset in NG+.
